Genesis' voice has been changed in Crisis Core, however. And for the better, MUCH better. I don't gripe with English voice actors often, and I'm happy with his new voice in Crisis Core.

In the story line GENESIS, WEISS, and NERO are apparently brothers. gackts voice was definitely better. follow the psp game that just came out. It's ZACK'S storyline. You'll find out about GENESIS, SEPHIROTH, and ANGEAL.

Jenova is sephiroths mother when she came to the planet she was anahialated by the lifestream. Like Kadaj, Loz, and Yazoo in AC Sephiroth is a spirit born from jenova, therefore he is Jenova's son, but his birth mother is lucretcia

In some Asia countries, especially Japan, friends or comrades sometimes call themselves brothers. As much as I love 7 to bits, they should stop creating so many new characters that were a part of Shinra. Sephiroth was the main one, and should be the only one.
They're kind of ruining the story of 7 with all of these new-looking characters as well. What's with his voice?

I don't really like the English voice. :\ But, Gackt is a bishie, I didn't really enjoy the gameplay either. Graphics and stuff were good. But, I think they made it soft for the rabid Gackt and Vincent otakus.

Genesis uses the term "brother" simply because Weiss is from Deep Ground which is the result of Genesis and Project G. Just like how the Silver Hair Men call Cloud brother since he has Jenova cells. It was said a SOLDIER sealed Genesis away underneath Midgar. You'll have to play Crisis Core on the PSP to get some insight on his actions. Professor Hollander created the G Project and seeks revenge on Hojo for stealing his fire. He recruits Genesis who then develops a hate for Sephiroth.

Well yeah i think you can say that. I haven't played the game yet so i'm not sure, but i've read about it. But you could say that. Jenova remnents reffers to each other as brother(not every one but a large amount probably do).

G = First Class SOLDIER Genesis. One of Sephiroth's few friends. Also he's a childhood friend of Zack's mentor Angeal. He goes missing a month later after the Wutai War. He is the result of Project G. The project was suppose to have success but it failed. The Jenova Project was a success is created Sephiroth. Genesis is to Deep Ground as Sephiroth is to SOLDIER. Genesis was suppose to be everything Sephiroth became in Shin-Ra.

Square really needs to give FFVII a break....It is probably the best game I ever played but before we know it all the FFVII new games and stuff will have more secret endings which will cause more people to buy it. i read on wikipedia that this guy is supposed to be like sephiroth in some way or about as strong as he is maybe more now its not 100% percent but its said he was the real legendary member of SOLDIER befor sephiroth and then around when the turks showed up with its climax of members he dropped out of sight much like the deep ground SOLDIER's did
