I have a problem with my bell computer the problem is Up to a week ago my computer work fine. I had a 19inch monitor but I won't a bigger monitor so I look on crigslist and I found a dell monitor for $100 dollar from some guy . but the only way to connect him through g-mail so I open a gm account and email him and soon afterward I got hit with a virsus I don't where it came from g-mail of crigslist but now I can't get back on line and when I try all it get no ip address found? HELP

i replaced my explorerframe.dll in system32 with one from a theme and the other one in syswow64 too and than when i stopped explorer.exe and than tried to make a new one it gave me a error then i restarted my computer and it said explorerframe is missing or something so i'm now on someone else's computer cause (obv) i can't use mine atm ;( so please someone help me !!!

@eljafet12 scan it with superantispyware and malwarebytes, when your finished you can clean it with ccleaner to remove useless junk files (if you havent used it before it cleans up like 10 gigs from your comp) and then do what it says in the vid.

@Stevmay09 Well he could change the boot settings in the bios to do a bootable disc check. Then just do a brand new installation of whatever OS he's on. (If I understand what he's saying properly)
you could use the disk that came with the comp. it would say something like operating system disc. you put it in before you tern your comp on. just follow the instructions that it says. BUT their is down fall to this method it will delete every thing that you have on your comp. and i mean everything.

@peaceplis hey, i fixed my computer. I downloaded bitdefend, Malware bytes and Search and destroy.. removed all viruses and recently installed / dodgey programs. Changed some start up things in msconfig and manually checked all files. My computer does work in Safe mode. I downloaded a Norton trial, Malwarebytes, and super anti spyware. But i cant install super anti spyware. Iv done 6 full system scans with both programs but apart from a few cookies have found nothing. You can system restore it to a diffrent time or MS it they are both free but MS'ing it would take a virus scanner. and after you get the file and it didnt delete it you can auto delete it with MS.

@hiiedit You do not have 177 trojans. install Avast. that is a perfect antivirus program, and it's free for life.

AVG cannot detect this damn thing and the computer is super slow, the frikin PC cost me $1200 any help? after this fix hopefully investing in some real antivirus programs

@Nismoleb89 - You have to un-install other copies of anti-viruses (only one anti-virus should be installed) i can give you the key for the free AVG to make it to the premium version that last till the year 2018 - also go to google and type in this ( windows live care scanner )- and go though the prompts - it gets rid of worms and Ad ware and mal ware - & fixes them free and removes them for you - this what i've told you to run only works on internet explorer - not Fire fox - so click on ya (E)

ok please help me! my computer waz being gay so i shut it off and now whenever i try to like click on a icon on my desktop it will say open with... and it will have other programs i have on my computer and if i click like on the internet it will go but it will download that program again n if i try to set it up it will just say open with... and it does that for EVERYTHING PLEASE HELP!!

if you can't even get into your computer, then you have to buy a new one. if it doesn't start up, there's nothing you can do.

@Stevmay09 Well he could change the boot settings in the bios to do a bootable disc check. Then just do a brand new installation of whatever OS he's on. (If I understand what he's saying properly)

you could use the disk that came with the comp. it would say something like operating system disc. you put it in before you tern your comp on. just follow the instructions that it says. BUT their is down fall to this method it will delete every thing that you have on your comp. and i mean everything.

@peaceplis hey, i fixed my computer. I downloaded bitdefend, Malware bytes and Search and destroy.. removed all viruses and recently installed / dodgey programs. Changed some start up things in msconfig and manually checked all files. My computer still didnt work after that but i got a old blank hard drive and plugged it in then unplugged it and now my computer works? dnt know why but im happy :). Hope this helps u in some way

My computer does work in Safe mode. I downloaded a Norton trial, Malwarebytes, and super anti spyware. But i cant install super anti spyware. Iv done 6 full system scans with both programs but apart from a few cookies have found nothing. My computer blocks attempts to install superanti spyware (which is not a virus) and says that i need to be system admin to do that, and i am the system admin. what should i do?

hold down f8 or press it repedtly when it starts up then do a defrag and disk check it will fix blue screen but not trojan

You can system restore it to a diffrent time or MS it they are both free but MS'ing it would take a virus scanner. and after you get the file and it didnt delete it you can auto delete it with MS.

ooh ik what that is well....you first go to safe mode you select safe mode with networking. you press ENTER on the 1 u want to pick i pick safe mode. and please man dont press the turn on button and hold onto it because it causes you to loose files and make you waste time having to select a command on your system

@musikero214 gpedit.msc is only available on the pro versions of windows.
You can change the same settings with a registry editor though, if you know where to look.

honestly, i don't hate macs.
macs are good, but i prefer PCs just because i think the're a little easier to use.
besides, i'm not supid enough to go to a virused website anyway.
enjoy your mac, and i use Windows XP.
vista sucks. if you're gonna have a PC, downgrade to XP. it's 10 times better than crap vista.
you continue to use macs ( or vista, whichever ) and i'll stick with PCs.
