  • Oh, it is, my friend! It is! I read the Richard Bach's Jonathan Livingston Seagull History once and I loved, even it was so mellow yellow in that time. Yeah, it had to be as close to 5 minutes as I could get it for school, but if it hadn't been for that i probably would have cut a minute off. =)

  • single muslim ?

  • If only we could chose the ads. =P lol

  • The poster is duping people into thinking it's him, it's not. Video is childishly edited. Choppy. And boring. Rated poor.

  • If you read the credits, it says pretty clearly that I'm not the actor. =)

Thanks for the feed back, could you tell me how you think it would be improved? I'm not sure if you've done any editing work before, but if you have I'd love to hear some more details on how you'd improve it. =)

  • ^^ Maybe going a tad far, but thank you.

  • haha yea well... if you do this stuff for fun or for school you can call it like that i.. guess? anyway... if u think it's a bit to far... let's call it... artistic? :)

  • You have an uncommon elegance in your voice, not just the sound of your voice but with how you position words. It is an art, and you are talented at it.

  • Aww, ^^ Thanks a lot! That's really nice of you. =)

  • Lolz i know i have commented on a few of ur videos , but u have such a great way with words its amazing =]

  • =D hehe, thanks very much!

  • This is a comment just because ........

All the darkness in the world could not put out the light of one small candle.

    And as if by magic,

Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle.

Yet the life of the candle will not be shortened.

Happiness never decreases by being shared

  • Good old candles. Always saving the day. =)

  • This is so sweet.

It's really awesome that you turned something initially seeming so odd into something so poetic and nice. :)

  • Glad you liked it. =]

  • hehe!

"the beach is the only place where I've ever felt at home, that's how I know I'm a seagull"

You have an amazing voice btw :D

  • Cheers. =P

  • Hey, wow. I completely agree with carl8855's comment. It really is a wonderful piece of work! Congrats on the script award too!

  • =) Thanks a lot! hehe

  • Hard not to repeat what others have said but the whole film from script, acting, filming to editing was very polished and professional. Beautiful.

  • Thanks very much. =D

(I know what you mean about repeating. lol, I'm always looking for new ways to say thank you.)

  • amazingg. veryyyveryyy good. (:

  • hehe, thanks. =)

  • Really great Leuke! Very well done!

Were you inflenced by "Jonathan Livingston Seagull" by Richard Bach?

  • Well I wasn't actually thinking about it when I wrote the script, but i have read the book. So it might have been subconscious.

  • Absolutely brilliant, Leuke. Is there anything you're not good at?

  • Thanks mate. =P We have yet to find something. lol

  • LOL.

    this was great.

it made me laugh so much.

    especially:

"My name is Jonathan Day. No one knows I'm a seagull. They wouldn't believe me."

    best part. :]

  • =D Glad you liked it.

  • This is done so well!

[and the voice is almost soothing]

  • Thanks very much! ^^

  • That was really, really good. Have you ever read "Jonathan Livingston Seagull" by Richard Bach?

    ISBN-10: 0743278909

    ISBN-13: 978-0743278904

  • Thank you.

=D And yes, I have read it. Great book.

  • I really loved it! I think we could all kind of relate to his story...I know I have a place where I truly feel like I belong..and everywhere else I feel like an outsider.

  • Yeah, I think most people have something like this. =]

  • Beautiful! Amazing! Thought provoking!

This is what you tube should be about!

  • OH OH OH this is the first Leuke film that isn't exactly X:00 min's !!!!!!!

  • =P Nah, got a 2:30 from awhile ago, and a few 0:40ers. lol

  • I'm guessing this is filmed around Holbert/Taz

looks like you live in a very nice , pleasant place Leuke .Very well done film, who would of thought you were so sensitive and emotional the voice over was quite soothing. you know out of all the people I have met I have yet to meet a normal person I guess everyone has there own personality I guess it would be a very dull place if we were all the same.

My best wishes for you in all that you do.

And DON'T FORGET TO BE AWESOME!

  • Yeah, all filmed in the local area. Thanks. =)

Yeah, everyone has their own thing. =P People get boring when they try to be the same as other.

  • lol, that would probably end up as a bit of a different story.

  • Oo wow... thats quite an amazing story :P! keep it up nice job +1

  • =P Thanks very much!

  • Aww, poor Jonathan

I love the beach too, the smell, the sound, the feel

    I makes you soo relaxed

This is really nice, keep it up

  • Yeah it's a nice place. =)

  • This is really quite fascinating. And great inspiration for those who wish to try their hand at short films (aka, me and my friends) An interesting concept shown beautifully with limited resources.

Your narrative voice rivals that of David Attenborough!

  • Ohhm good luck with that! =) I'd love to see anything you make.

    =D Thanks!

  • Always good to try something different. Really nicely done Leuke!

  • Thanks Andrew! =D

Yeah, I like to try and change up what I do. Keep people on their toes. =P I can't be happy all the time.

  • Thanks very much. =P

  • Is that Jonathan Livingston Day aka Seagull? JLS was my student.

  • Nah, but if he becomes a seagull he might meet him. ;)

  • Quite inspiring and interesting,

    definitely worth watching.

    You're a good narrator.

    cheers

  • Thanks! hehe

  • naw that was sweet. Did you get a good grade? A+ worthy =D

  • Yeah, my practical work got good marks. =)

  • I liked that.

Is it bad that I wanted to throw Jonathan a chip? ;)

  • My media teacher wanted that scene in there. =P lol

  • that was really lovely and sweet :)

  • =) Glad you liked it.

  • souns like someone needs a hug.

  • I can't think of anyone better to give him one. =P hehe

  • Leuke!;D

That was incredible! I realllly enjoyed it;D

  • =D Thanks Liv!!

  • That was beautiful. It really made me think.

When he said he was a seagull, I thought he meant that in the literal, but then the more I watched, the more it made sense.

This was really inspiring. Thumbs up! (:

  • Thanks a lot.

=) I like making people think.

  • This Explains Why I Saw That Guy Crapping On A Statue And Eating Bread Crumbs Off The Sidewalk.

  • Wow..seriously..wow! I hope YT features this Leuke....that was very very nice! You really have a great talent. Thanks for posting this. BTW..that narration was especially incredible!!! You have the perfect voice for that you defiently need to get into media of some form! :]

  • I agree with you!;D

  • Thanks very much mate. =)

We shall see. =P Send them an email. lol, that's how they get most of the features.

  • One step ahead of you...that was the first thing I did! I just watched an 8 hour series on my Blu Ray called "Planet Earth" by national geographic. Your narration voice was ten times better than that! I dont know if you realize it but your voice is gold! You should send that tape to an agent or something...anyway, I love that video. How long did it take you to make? I hope you got an "a" for that one! :]

  • hehe, aww!

Yeah, a few people have said that. =P It's hard to know if they're just being nice. But we'll see, I might end up as a voice over man. lol

It was mad over about 3 weeks. =)

  • wow, total awesomeness! You did something very special.

  • ^^ I'm glad you think so. hehe

  • Very cool! Poetic, even. I liked your narration.

  • Yeah, a few people have said that.

    Thanks!

  • You better have gootan an 'A" on this from your teacher.
