its actually smashbox's eye primer, the company call it photofinish eye primer :) hope that helps

I think you can get much better mineral loose eyeshadows for that same price. . . the pigmentation on these ones are not the best! but I still love the look . . really nice neutral look.

Emily I love watching these videos but I only rated this one 3 stars. I was a little disappointed because after saying that we were going to get a review while trying the product for the first time, you came back on with one eye already done. I still love the review that was done but another reason I only gave it three stars is that it seems like in a lot of the videos lately there have been a lot of times when your eyes go out of the shot.

why would you put eyeliner under your tearduct? the point is to darken the base of the lashes and make them seem thicker...we don't have any lashes in that area though...

well since you asked...eyeliner did originally start out being a way of making our lashes look thicker. however, it has since evolved and people now use it to define their eyes, or even appear to change the shape of their eye using it ( cat eye effect etc).

i love NYX jumbo pencils and im trying to find out ALL the color options they have. each website i look at has totally different colors. i went to Ulta for a little while today to get Milk and Yogurt and i guess i shouldve looked to see other options they have... if any one has suggestions let me know please! thanks :)

When I went to Ulta, they have several colors. I have 6 or 7 of them. I won't buy from their website b/c their s&h is ridiculous. They have 24 colors. You can get them at cherryculture (dot) com for $3. S&H is free with orders over $40.

I love your videos! I think you do an awesome job, very helpful, and full of good info. I bought a couple of the CS loose eye shadows too, I found the the color to be very sheer and disappointing.

About the lighting in this video and other filmed in this room, sadly I agree the lighting in here is not the best for this. It makes you slightly orange, and it washes out the colors.

I'm not trying to be mean, because I really love your videos! Just the lighting in here could be a bit brighter.

There are quite a few coastal scents loose powder shadows that are not shimmery and have a lot of color payoff - it just depends on the colors that you pick. Personally I love them and have had great color payoff with the ones that I have purchased.

hi, i bought the same mascara a few days ago and i loveee it! it's my faviorte one i've tried so far, i recommend it to anyone. a lot of popular gurus have reviewed on it and recommend it too :)

What do you like about the mascara? I haven't tried it. Right now my fave is CG lash luxe.

It definitely lengthens your lashes and doesn't wear off during the day. Easy to remove and doesn't clump. While applying to your lashes, if you blink it doesn't get all over your eye.. that's how good the formula is ;)

I love watching your videos but agree with another post that your lighing is not the best. It seems to wash the colors out so that most of the times the colors look the same on you, it's hard to tell, a lot of the times the shadows look like gray or brown.

Emily I would love to see you use these loose shadows either wet or with a mixing medium, they would probably show up a little more vibrant. Although I love this look the way it is, It's perfect for wearing to work. I dont find any of them boring at all. Shes much more entertaining and realistic than other guru's on youtube.

I agree with this. These tutorials are so much more enjoyable to watch than some of these other gurus on youtube. I like that she uses affordable products and shows "everyday" looks. We can't all afford a closet full of MAC products and I don't wear crazy colors on a daily basis so her tutorials are perfect for me. The other gurus are for entertainment purposes, but Emily has some great ideas for everyday wear.

I live in Texas... I got them over a month ago, and Ross is known for having random makeup ... I just (last wk) got a huge 100 color (shimmer) palette @ Ross. This is not the first palette I've found at Ross, but Idk if all Ross Stores have the same layout but you can usually find the makeup in the accessories section. You'll have to go through all the stuff they pile in carts of racks but I guarantee you'll get a good deal. I'll try posting some pics on my channel.
