I was 5 when this came out. I thought the Carnotaurus was the most badass motherfucking thing ever. My parents bought a shirt that had one on it; it was brown and it was opening its mouth and there was drool and everything. It was an Adult small or something, but it was still such an awesome shirt. I thought the McDonalds glove was frickin amazing. It was in a goodie basket in Kindergarden or 1st grade, and one of my friends who went before me took it. I had a grudge on him for about a year.

The blu-ray for this film is much better than some websites have reviewed it. Some websites complain that the transfer is from mpeg2 and not mpeg4. But trust me, "Dinosaur" on blu-ray is quite a stunner.

@DragonAge2k To make these movies they animate everything obviously.. But the problem is that it takes a extreme time to render unlike a movie which only has to do it once to produce a movie file, While a game would have to do it "Times" the number of frames you want.. Its complicated but if you had a multi-million dollar computer in that time I'm sure it would be possible. In short, it would probbably take 5,000 hours to render a cgi movie like this into a movie.

Yeah I remember seeing this movie when I was a little kid back in 2nd and 3rd grade it was sooooo fun to watch I would watch it on the weekends sometimes and during spring break or summer vacation, it was FANTASTIC, and the meteor shower was thrilling and EPIC!! AMAZING STORY!!! This is indeed for ALL families to watch, very educational too as it is splendid. I still have it on dvd, I should watch it again sometime lol. Whenever I get the chance or it crosses my mind I will, peace. :)
