  • Nice job, I have been thinking of making a small backhoe out of my John Deere 110, Just for digging ditches and small jobs around the place. I have noticed some people say that it was slow, and to use a shovel, I wonder how many have used a shovel before?

  • how did you make the turn tabel

  • I think it is the best design I have seen. Do you have any plans in the works or anything that can help me build it? Great Job.

  • Looks like the video was sped up a bit so it wouldnt look so slow. Still, looks like a good fabrication job.

  • Very nice!

  • You people are haters -this is cool that you made this yourself.others are jealous-Great job man

  • I admire your work. I have an small excavator myself (Hanix H08B) one of the lightest available but far more sturdy than yours.I wonder how you could construct yours so lightly and still work with it without damaging the construction. Very good concept!

  • sin ofender pero se hace mas rapido con pico y pala y una carucha, espero que no se ofenda...

  • would be quicker with a shovel wouldn't it?

  • A real handy unit!! Looks to be well designed and built. I presume the boom is principly square tubing. Are the bins with bushings?

  • Salut Luc tu a eu une bonne idée esque tu a penser a lui posé des pons comme une vrais pel Daniel dans youtube , merci elle foctione tres bien .

  • he he smart little excavator but i think that it would gone faster to digg for hand he he but as i said verry nice :P

  • super..............c est qoui ta pumpe merci ERIK quebec, montreal

  • How many CC's is the engine? It sounds maybe like a 125CC and looks to have a 100CC Generator on the back, of course I could be wrong.

  • I am impressed. How do you keep the wheels from rolling forward when you pull the bucket to you?

  • its prety cool, but i could shovel faster then that just sayin

  • Hey thats a pretty cool little rig you got there! Good job, looks like fun. I sure couldn't build something like that. Anyways is that as fast as it can go? It would be alot more fun and handy if you could turn up the hydraulics a bit.

  • don`t you haveanything to do ??

  • great job! well done

  • Any chance of getting a free copy of your plans.? Very impressive! Would like to adapt to fit my 3-point hitch on an older kubota. Thanks Fred

  • could yui send for free the plan build for me pleASE

  • Cycles FAR TOO slow. But apart from that, Good job!!

  • argh we need to build a prototype for a project in school and i can't get good plans or design specifics anywhere...but this is cool..good job!

  • Wow, nicely built :).

I could really use an excavator on my farm right now.

    Keep up the good work.

  • Nice work, handy machine to have around the house. phil

  • @bill647 Fuck you ass hole

  • I love what you made! Guys he did something and used it...what can you say??

  • Excellent! Nicely done!

  • thats cool man

  • Very cool. How long did it take to build?

  • That is one awesome home-built excavator. 5/5*

  • nice work

    (Give it to me now)

  • 2 mexicans with shovels would be faster and cheaper

  • @JustBoredEnough

    Mexicans aren't yellows.

  • not anymore, mexicans are lazy and they demand more money

  • @dumapies what the fuck don't call mexicans lazy dude they did built most of the things you take for granted.

  • @JustBoredEnough Yeah, but this is more fun.^^ Inside every man, there's a little boy, that wanna play. :P

  • #5 need input!

  • I'm diggin' it! lol

good work in the shop and getting this together. Princess Auto FOREVER!

lol that video is a canadian video if I ever saw one

  • Well youve done a awesome job on it and yea you should put up an update.

  • Not all the parts were hand made the cylinders and hydrolics arnt hand made by you.

  • Course not ! The cylinders, engine and body valve were purchased, hydrolic pump and motor were rebuilded, boom, bucket, frame all from scratch. Now it propells itself and I made a clamp for wood, need to make an updated video. Thanks for comments and questions.

  • @MtnBikeCody your an idoit

  • What kinda engine and transmission are you using?

Where did you get the hydrolics?

  • what are your sprocket size's?what is your pump rpm?what are you using for a swing bearing? i'm building a machine similar to this but a bit bigger.looking to get less than 10 rpm from mine.always looking for different idea's.

  • this is a nice homemade excavator, too bad we couldn' find any tracks or real under cariage for it, good job

  • 2 MEXICANS +8 HRS.= JOB DONE

  • if both you guys would have grabbed a hand shovel, that trailer would have been loaded hours ago.

  • Just a past time Buddy !!

Don't make a big deal of it ! LOL

  • im just bustin balls buddy.

  • @shortthrow50

1 throw of bucket is equivalent to min 6 throws of shovels.

  • @shortthrow50 yea but that wouldn't be fun at all.

  • Great machine.

  • Great Job, definetly !

  • great job buddy , im building a towable version right now.

i got a bunch of videos , check em out,

i would love to pick your brain on how that swivels.

im at the point in fabrication where you could mount my arm on anything. once again great video

  • wow

  • My Cousin LOL :P Nice job

  • I'm planning on building myself an excavator with 360 degree swing and a twenty horse honda engine, what did you do for swing on your machine?

  • Sprocket mounted to the undercarriage that the structure would sit on and a smaller sprocket mounted to the bottom of the structure chained to the other one. To power the small sprocket attach a hyrdraulic motor on it's own circuit.

  • u should make plans for that and sell them id love to make that what size motor and whats the base? a trailer or does it move itself?
