We eventually named him Boo. Actually, our friend's son named him because he liked to play peek-a-boo with his tentacles! He was so cool. He passed away about a year later. :(
He was an Abdopus aculeatus. His mantle was about two inches long and his longest arm was about 15 inches. He was a mature individual when we acquired him so unfortunately he only lived for two months, but for a creature with a natural life span of eight months, that's not too bad. :)

In a way. It's more like he'll use my hand for a jungle gym and then will get tired and sit in my palm and match the color of my hand.
