Also, about the artwork at 0:04 - Bioware loved it so much that they hired the guy who made it on the spot. So there's a slight chance that this may be Tali's face, whether you like it or not =P

@klaridon I agree. As great as the painting of Tali unmasked is, I actually hope she doesn't look like that.

I always imagined the Quarians looking more like Geth minus the flashlight heads: a lot of exposed muscle tissue and cybernetic implants. That would be more in keeping with their history, weak immune systems and penchant for tech.

Besides, the mystery is part of Tali's appeal. And Mass Effect already has a couple of races that are 'almost human'.

Heh, I somewhat doubt she'd have a mass of tentactles as a face, otherwise Shepard would have been like "ewwww" when he removed her mask in ME2. =P

Part of the reason why I romanced her was partly due to her very appealing personality, but also genuine curiosity about what the person underneath the suit looks like. Hopefully we'll find out in ME3. =)

I don't understand why people down on Miranda. I thought she and Shepard were perfect for each other. He discovers that she isn't an ice queen, just very focused and conditioned to hide her emotions and feelings because all her life she had been treated as something to be used. But Miranda shows Shepard who she really is and they see how they're both very much alike. I can't understand why Bioware wouldn't cash in on this brilliant plot and character arc. It makes for a perfect part of the story
