I am sorry guys but the X means that that threshold is not usable/sutable to lando n, as it might collpase under sudden pressure. It does not mean the runway is closed.
ppl ppl youve got it all wrong... Saba only offers service to winair... in real life anyways... they make trips there everyday for any other plane its innoperative
This is a Piper PA 28-180, better known as a Cherokee 180, and this one appears to be an "E" model. That would put it at about a 1970 model. I have a 1968 PA 28-180, and mine is a "D" model. Other than the age, I don't think there is a difference between a "D" and an "E". They both have a 30' wingspan. But the model that came out after the "E" had a slightly longer fuselage and a 35' wingspan.
Actually the runway is not inoperative; the Xs at either end denote the run-up area. Take a look at the Saba airport from Google Earth or Google maps.
@ComAviationToday That part of the asphalt would be marked with chevrons if you shouldn't touch down at that point, a yellow X means that it's closed, which that is not, and it is below the threshold so I will give you that one, oh, and thanks for being constructive with your comments, just because I thought something was what it's not dooesn't make me a "stupid ass", and I'm sure I'm a better pilot than you, if you even are one
Now i just wanna see a route with a commercial airplane, cause your computer specs are so good so if you would post something like that out here it would be amazing!
cool! do you use windows movie maker or a different software? whats the best to use to make videos look so sharp. I dont seem to be able to get great results from window movie maker
