Although Faux News is the #1 perpetrator of lies, the MSM or Corporate Media isn't doing much better of a job reporting the news unbiased. They aren't so blatant, but they subtlety try to shift your thinking as well. Heck the entire media was on board in the run up to the Iraq war with little to no investigation into the lies being told.

We are a nation of sheep. The internet has given us this tiny opening to have our voice heard. If do not elect someone like Ron Paul (and who else is like Ron Paul) you can count on internet controls being put into place that will prevent us from ever having a movement like this again. I fear this is our one and only chance to restore freedom and reverse the slide toward facism.

Ron Paul would keep government out of our emails and bedrooms, but he'd also keep it out of checking food from China or controlling air traffic. Support Paul's anti-war view, yes, but don't be fooled; he's a libertarian and told Colbert he'd do away with ALL government. I happen to like Interstates and my federally-funded education, and the FDA, the EPA. Not ALL government is bad; we just don't need 60% Defense spending breaking our bank.

Where on earth did you get the idea that libertarians want to do away with all government? Who told you that? Do you really think that education will not be funded if not through the federal government? Why? Don't you see that the federal government is like a sink whole - a dollar goes in and 20 cents come back out. Central government is generally the worst way to accomplish the things you want to accomplish.

From political science books and from Ron Paul on the Colbert Report last fall. Colbert went down a list of government agencies, and Paul would do away with all of them, including the FDA, the NTSB, etc. I'm a Texan who's been watching Paul for decades. He's fooling you young idealists, focusing on the one issue he knows folks support and brushing his true views under the carpet. Libertarians believe in an unfettered free market, which means privatization, which means crappy service.

his true views are more palatable than bush's and that is what is attractive. every other candidate reeks of governmental control. and if you haven't noticed, almost all government agencies that the average american ( and non-american) citizen deal with has nothing but crappy service. ever been to the DMV?

Ever tried to get something done in Mexico or another country without a strong central government? Even most Paul supporters agree with the need for some government; they just don't know his true feelings. He lies by omission but they latch on to Iraq, the one issue he will discuss completely openly.
On that, they have much in common with Obama supporters, because he has given few specifics, only complaints and his promise to fix them and make everyone better off.

then what are his hidden/omitted views? to follow the constitution? to limit the size and authority of the federal government like the countries founders intended? to actually get people to take care of them selves and their communities without the big government looking over our shoulders and imposing restrictions and mandates? im too old for a mom and dad telling me what to do and it sounds like you are too. lets take care of ourselves, even if that means we have no welfare to fall back on

On Colbert, when asked what government progams he would do away with, Paul blithely replied, "All of them."
I think all but the 30% die-hard evangelicals agree that Bush is a poor leader and Cheney had dismembered the Constitution, but that's no reason to do away with the EPA or NASA at a time when the global poles are shifting and mankind itself is in danger. The free market won't fix that, but Paul believes free markets fix almost all. We need intelligent gov't., i.e., Hillary Clinton.

Comparing Fox deceptions to that of WW2 Nazi propaganda is spot on. Handsomely paid parrots who repeat well scripted lies with the SOLE INTENT of encouraging their viewers to accept and justify the mass murders and theft orchestrated by BushCo. These 'media enablers', and the owners of 'Fox', are WILLING participants in those war crimes and need to be be held accountable for such compliance.
