They grabbed the man first, they officers were in no apparent danger, so either way you look at it, it was an assault on an innocent civilian, even if he had been drunk.

I feel a fair punishment for cops who misuse tazers is to have them bend over and let the victim shove the tazer up the cop's arse and then pull the trigger as much as they wish. Regardless of the odds you speak of being true which, they are. It doesn't give any excuse what so ever for these out of control bullies wearing badges to deal with this man the way they did. I have a friend who's a Postal Carrier and a diabetic and he doesn't wear a bracelet or necklace announcing his condition.......There is always the chance that, these officers after figuring out they were in big trouble could've removed his bracelet themselves, so to protect themselves from prosecution.

You have a serious reading problem. Tasers main power is about 7 watts and standard output is one and a third. This is for tasers on planet Earth.
People do get severe injuries, and people do die from being tasered.
