how did she inspire u? i see her everytime i go to fair. she is really beautiful! why doesnt she talk?=[
i know those ppl aint supposed to talk but i wanna talk to her. she always gives my sis painted glass rocks everytime we go. fyi check out the fletching and bow shop there, i got a cool bow there!
How did she inspire me? Hard to say what in particular inspires an artist of any kind. With Twig, I experienced an "other worldly" interaction with her silent grace and child-like charm. As far as why she doesn't speak? By her own explanation (in an interview she did years ago with a local Minnesota TV station that I found buried somewhere online), she found she "is able to communicate more through facial expressions and gestures more eloquently than than she ever could with words".
Truth be told, I have already talked with her after hours at the Colorado Renaissance Festival (the day I delivered the DVD version of the video to her). Her speaking voice is as beautiful and enchanting as her looks.
KK: Beautiful video! I just went to my first Rennesance Faire just yesterday, and met Twig for the very first time. You did an amazing job of capturing her essence and beauty.
TYVM! It is so seldom any more that someone or something moves me so deeply to put all my waking moments into such a creative effort. It was truly a labor of love to have created this. My only regrets are not having included slo-mo video and not having created a similarly beautiful soundtrack myself. Thanks again... LC
Bravo !!! A beautiful tribute to a wondrous, magical personality. The effect she has on the little children she encounters is wonderful to see, and you have done a fabulous job of sharing your vision of her. Dennis
Thanks so much for the kudos! It was a labor of love to create this piece. Believe it or not, the intro took almost 4 times as long to create as it took me to compile and edit the slide show itself. Four different pieces of software were involved in the making of of the intro, whereas only one was used to assemble the slide show and render the entire production. I love what I do and I'm so glad I'm not the only one who finds some kind of joy in the works I produce. Blessings to you Mep.
Super kewl video !!!!!!!! Thanks for making and posting : )

My music of choice would be "Dead Can Dance". I'll pick the specific song and get back to you on that.

@CamarilloSocialDGirl - Thanks Michelle!
Took me a little research to figure out which
Michelle you were that I knew. I think I may
collect some of your more "interesting" pics
and make a vid for you. Any thoughts on a
piece of music to accompany it?

Of course, for anyone who has met Twig in person, the "short answer" is;
It would ruin the illusion.

FYI - There are faeries aplenty flitting about the Colorado Renaissance Festival that DO speak. And none of them share the notoriety that Twig does.
