Yeah i read some of that book, but to me Goldberg is a conservative that is trying to push his anti-liberal views to the masses. His arguments are tenuous associations between the two. An example that Organic food, is fasicst and liberals like organic food so hence they are fascist. Maybe that book made sense to you, but to me it pushed to much of a conservative bias. This of course is my opinion. I'll finish the book though so when I'm done ill decide if it makes some good points.

well jimmy carter joined habitat for humanity in the 1980s i believe, i forgot the exact date. through this, decent houses are built for less fortunate families with no personal gain for the builders. i suppose you could consider it a form of relief in other countires. i do know that jimmy carter along with other volunteers will be traveling to 5 countires in asia to build houses for families in those 5 countires who can't afford housing. but i mean he is doing something unlike obama.

I agree that for most people the Nobel Peace Prize meant nothing before Obama won it.
When I first heard he won I did a mental slap against my head. I see this as 'upping the ante' either he succeeds in his (foreign) policy or the trip down is that much more spectacular.
I believe this award polarizes the american people's view of obama. And those few holding off judgment may be begin questioning his presidency "What did he do to deserve this?" So all in all it was a terrible choice.

2. You don't even know what those terms mean. Fascism is more of a conservative idea that focuses on the doing what's best for the nation. Socialism is progressive idea that believes everyone is entitled to a job and means to live. and Capitalism is an economic philosophy.
3. Do you have any idea the environment in which communism was thought up in? Do you even know what communism is? Probably not.

I never said I thought those ideas would work here in America, I just don't think the US has any moral responsibility to change a world we don't belong to. Their world has changed but if we want it continue to change we gotta trust in the people of that world to change it.
