this game is freaking epic i love how you have to relearn a whole control scheme to play it but the point and hack is a due without (other than mage and archers) this game should be ported to atleast ps2 ps3 or mabey they can think about a good run with one of the best dreamcast games ever? i think this game would work well on dream cast, i know it can handle the game but the fact the controlers on dream cast omfg i love them

but gothic3 is not so good as the other ones. cause the publisher press the release to early.

now the developing studio has seperate from the old publisher.

and they produce a new game in the old gothic charme frome episode 1 and 2. the game is called "Risen" and you can find it here on youtube.

the new weapon abillities.

BEST GAME EVER!!! I really wish that they kept the same fighting system in gothic3. In gothic2 u needed to fight with foresight, and the motion of your body and parrying was much more important. However in G3 u just need to push the button faster like in those hyper-nintendo games to kill almost anyone at any level.The script is awesome in all gothic games however the fighting and attributes / skills was much more fun in the previous 2 games.

I wouldnt say that. It's About 30% Gothic Gameplay (exploring, quests n awesome atmosphere) wich is still a lot (huuuge game), 30% mmorpg gameplay which is a shame for the gothic series (kill 10 wolves, find 20 herbs etc... without and major story stuff involved) and 40% of wilderness (nothing to find really except for some creatures, empty caves and random trasure chest with nothing special in em). The fighting system sucked, and so did all the bugs that's all. By now, it's decent (patches :P)

what made the gothic series is its combat system, with just one simple tweak to change the combat system back, gothic 3 would be one of the best games out there - the part I hate the most about it is big monsters such as trolls or shadowbeasts cannot be hurt by normal weapons, they only feel pain in the middle of them - so you need to use crossbows - stupidity at its worst

Yeah same here. Never saw Gothic in english. The synchronisation is nice, but this time the german synchronisation is way better.

Still, this game has an AWESOME storyline. I still have Gothic 1,2 and Night of Raven here :) Guess I go play now! Ta-ta!

this is my most watched vid so ill answer some questions : noobhunter u cant join the orcs (the orcs are much more barbaric then in gothic 3 - different tribe), Rough its not a mistake to not cheat my way through the door, if I wanted to do that I would have jumped over the wall...Im not doing gothic 1 story because I simply dont own it - it aint easy to get ahold of, and I have played the demo - im not in a great rush
