: )) yes...i noticed months ago that the science and technology technology was abolished...i noticed that it had been restored when i did my last posting... yay!! if it is a recent change...it may just be technical glitches that are keeping it from being generally available.
There is a lot of scope for youtube to become more encompassing, like actively attracting professional educators as partners, hosting debates, lectures etc.
Perhaps youtube is trying to stay impartial and uncontroversial by just creating more suitable categories and staying out of the producer role?
well, youtube will be successful as long as the users contine to just love the medium.
if people start getting annoyed by something, or people demand more from youtube than the company has to offer, then it gets problematic. the only thing that could happen to them is that people stop liking it, and someone else makes a site that the people like more.
so, well, reading our minds should be their strategy if they want to be sucessful. we are their customers.
we atheists are individuals. this stays true, even if we organize for example in the brights movement. as individuals we have goals, and some goals can only be reached together. scientists are mostly very individualistic, critical, sceptical people, but they also love to discuss and to communicate, and they also work together, sometimes thousands of scientists on the same project.
your idea of putting ``god´´ into ``pets & animals´´ is just great ^^
but i think education should be okay for everything that has to do with god. after all, we are educating people about the flaws in religious faith, and that is quite an important thing to learn ^^

they just need to put it on the frontpage, everything appears to be working ^^
i hope it wont take them too long. if they wait for us to fill those categories, then youtube should make a video about it.

hey kurt, why do you want to group yourself with other atheists?
do you want to make a religion out of atheisim?
it seems to me a major need for atheist (agnostics, anti-theist, etc) to belong together.
i am a fellow "doubter" and i do not know te existence of any imaginary father figure, nor i care. but i do not fell like sharing my thoughts
