  • This is not to help the people this is how the mega wealthy profit and they don't care who it hurts as long as they get there money, same old story money is the root of all evil. and yes I have worked for the natural gas industry it is no different than any other it's all about the money.

  • nothing funny about changing the earth's surface so the big boys can play with their machines and leaving a mess behind for others to clean up and the cost of clean-up will surpass any profits made.

  • People like this just make me laugh...lol

  • I HATE TREE HUGGERS

  • yall watch to much CSI NY..........but if i was a booger eatin slackjawed inbreed hillbilly redneck that hasnt been more than 53 miles from my house ...........i would do the exact same thing

  • these vidoes make me laugh. first of all you rednecks posting these videos cant even read, and you sound even more uneducated when you are trying to read chemical names. second if you didnt want a gas line coming through your property why did you sign a gas lease in the first place ill end by saying there's no such thing as a free lunch, the gas companies gave you the money now they are doing work for what they paid you for

  • @belladivision79 well that's why they sell bottled water at walmart for .75 cents!!

  • i love it ......ya`ll bitch and gripe and hate us oilfield workers .ya`ll give us a hard time all the time .we have to put up with it ........im not bitching at all b/c the more ya`ll bitch and give the oilfield workers hell the more they pay us to put up with it ......so keep up the good work and i will aswell

  • @jmecrg haha hell yeah! If ya'll don't want the jobs that pay $25 an hour and only work 6 months out of the year. I'll gladly take it! Oh wait. I do already. 21 years old and makin around 82,000 a year.

  • ya'll are bitching about an industry you have no idea how it operates. Cabot Gas did scew up,and Pennsylvania punished them for it, and they're cleaning it up,.we got the same shit in NY and everyone who is pissing and whinning are the ones who didn't get a lease on their land. and that pipe will last at least 40 or more yrs. and heck in a yr or so, you won't even know that the pipes are there, or that the rigs where even drilling. all you'll see is a clearing with a well in it.

  • The gas wells keep me up every night. It's pretty sad.... At least they can't drill for a while.

  • @fury8793 -- yes, very sad; where is the drilling going on? what township or road--

    hope it stay stopped forever.

  • @veraduerga More in the Meshoppen/ Springville area. They can't drill for a couple months after my Grandmother's Water was tainted.

  • @veraduerga i hope it does stop up there so it stays busy down here and gas and oil prices go back up, and so glad u guys are so misinformed.

  • @veraduerga We'll remember that in 40 years when natural gas in this area runs out and we haven't drilled for new wells since then. Dumb ass.

  • @fury8793 you should call obama he will help you stop these nasty oilfield monkeys

  • OMG Y'all are some cry me a river people!! Ya after the government is a joke now days !! If its that bad your state would step in! FRAC is the proper spelling so here's a quarter ........

  • The reading of the lengthy chemical names is priceless. Oh my God, epoxy is being used.

  • "freestyler7886"--get back to us after they start drilling on your land and in your area,

    and after a few months , let us know if you still are so " glad to have them come"--come to Carter Rd., Dimock, and see what the people have been living with for 2 years now--a group of us are going on Monday to check it out the latest--join us, and see what it's like--the real deal--

  • @veraduerga This is, and has been an important issue in the Dimock area as well as many other places in PA. If you haven't already I encourage you to check out Clean Water Actions video on here

  • How many jobs were created locally? How has any of this helped lower the cost of fuel? We all understand the need and benifit of exploring alternative fuel options but at what cost?

  • not many jobs created locally; mostly for people from outside of the state coming in and doing their work; cost of fuel hasn't gone down; our health, and the health of air, water, land is more important than costs; this industry is costing billions; we have no indication that "exploring alternative fuels" is more costly.

  • thats exactly what I had thought! my comment wasn't meant to down-play any of effects just point out what the drilling didn't do thanks for making the video it still scares me the lengths these companies will go to make a dollar

  • Yeah, earth will heal itself AFTER the energy companies kill humanity.

  • you tree huggeres have a point, but were just up there doing a job.

  • thanks, for understanding that we have a "point" ; we know that you are just doing a job; not blaming you guys; it's mostly the big guys--corporate heads/owners that need a reality check and more consideration of their fellow man and creatures and earth; we're just doing our job, too-- to protest the rape of our land and lives--

  • I suggest you finish high school before you try spelling words that everyone else can see.

  • Good ole Dimock, ravaged by gas wells and unlawful oil well truck drivers. Possibly this hunting season a stray bullet will hit an oil rig causing an explosion ;-)

  • I dont really understand the point of your videos. I didnt like what happened there as i was out of work for 2 weeks and it made a mess of things. No process is perfect and These problems are normal problems for gas drilling, The land will cleanse and heal itself in time. Really allot sooner than most people think

  • sorry you were out of work for two weeks; Mother Earth needs to have her guardians and spokespeople; having 30 plus dill pads within 5 miles in Dimock is a lot of disturbance of the earth and will take decades to heal, if at all ; People in Dimock still can't drink their precious water from their wells; it's been 11 months for some; why should we go through this; so, that you and others can have a job; it's not worth it for some of us;

  • If you are a guardian of the earth and dont realize that that i WILL heal it itself then you dont understand the earth at all. Its not just so some of us can have a job, its the allot of us have good jobs. The water is a HUGE problem i would never attempt to deny it. The damage is done and the companies are here to stay Who would clean up the mess if you have them cleared out ? Its best to just let them do there jobs fast and get the work done so the land and water can start to cleanse itself

  • I should also mention that it is important to have people like you watching, i dont think you should be working to shut them down. They are here and thats not going to change. Instead you should be watching them just to let them know they need to do their jobs right and as clean as possible. Really people like you are important but when they are done with these drills the land will heal and the water will cleanse and the truth is the better they do their jobs the faster it will happen.

  • Sorry to keep posting, but i also dont agree with the only other poster on this video. that you have no legal interest in this. YOU DO. if someone is doing something on their property that is damaging yours or polluting yours, that is treading on your property rights. Even though its iilegal to shoot trespassers in PA, i would still be careful about trodding around pricate property without permission as they can press charges against you if they wanted to be hard asses about this

  • thanks, for understanding; sometimes we have to take risks to do something that we feel is important for our well-being and welfare;

  • I do live here and nearby to Dimock; sorry, to hear you are so disturbed by us; Pollution of our water and land is a major concern around gas drilling; if you can keep your pollution on your land and not let it spread, then we could be less concerned; but pollution, contamination spreads; we love this county and its land and water and want it to stay clean and healthy for all; Member of "Citizens for Clean Water" of Susquehanna County, Pa.

  • It would help if you only knew what the heck you were talking about. Be aware that you are trespassing and around here you might be shot for it.

    You clearly do not live here so go back to where you DO live. We did NOT ask for your sad attempt at tree-hugging.

    Each landowner AGREED to have drilling and/or a pipeline, so you have NO legal interest in what happens on private property.
