Nice tutorial found it after uploading my own but DFU mode and Recovery are two different modes.
DFU mode makes the iPod files editable while there not running so it doesn't damage anything important.
Recovery is strictly for restoring the device through iTunes

The problem with my iPod is that, I rebooted it when it was so slow and then it took a while to shut down, so I turned it back on and my iPod had the apple logo and it cut off, so I tried cutting it on again and it did the same thing, and til now it's still doing it...
