"Obama puts down the working class" is a Clinton talking point and absurd if you think about it. The "bitter"remark was during a conversation about getting help to unemployed in PA. His point was the government had broken a lot of promises and he wanted to get folks some help. The whole point of his remarks got edited out and Clinton got us to fixate on "cling". She spun it so well, she got us to think a guy trying to help is the bad guy, and she (Mrs Millionaire/Walmart/ NAFTA) is for workers.
you are determining the "point" he was making...could it be that you are "wrong?" i think you are...he isn't a flim flam man with no substance. he got caught and now people can see his lack of worth.
I also think it is a little odd that a woman that has a documented history of NOT being for the workers has tried to paint herself as being for them. Her actions should be "the point"..not a few poorly chosen words by her opponent. As usuall..we are easily distracted.
Bjw- Of course I could be wrong...having said that... at the beginning of the talk and at other times in the talk, he came back to "the point"... he did not keep coming back to "bitter" as being the point. So i think perhaps you are "determining the point" based on you own point of view and not on the entire body of the talk.
couple of days where the show Obama saying that he thinks he's been to 57 different states so far, and he said so that make one more to visit. I didn't know we had 58 states, did you? ;-). He doesn't know his civics...which is a foundation of politics...And to think he has supporters believing him. If he said it, do we believe him?
Obama is extremely tough, more tough than anyone like Hillary would ever truly know or be. He has an amazing ability to pull together the right combination of folks to achieve goals in a short period of time. Just look at his campaign. Hell, he's doing an excellent job fighting the "Clinton" machine and can fight the Repubs too.
No you're not. I don't know what the hell she's talkin' about and am beginning to question if she knows (looks like she had a stroke or something). The Clintons are desperate to prop up anybody of color these days, they look a lil pathetic in my opinion.
She made perfect sence to me, But I'm a musician thyat understands the Heart of the Poet. It's a shame Apreciation Classes have dropped off in our Education Sytem, or you'd have no trouble understanding her either.
lol...trust me many people on here know she has said nothing, or don't understand and are hoping she's saying something "deep" out of respect for her. It's not just you. I want to respect her too but this upcoming election is too serious to play games.
I think when folks get old, they just talk real slow and people supposed to think they sayin somethin deep or profound. But I guess in cases like this, for the average voter, if it don't make sense to you, then it probably just don't make sense period. Still, I rise.
Re: "If it don't make sense to you then it prob just don't make sense". I agree with those sentiments, entirely when it comes to politics. That's why I like Obama, I like Edwards too. But Obama is bringing forth a different brand of politics, which has a unifying effect.
I like Edward and Obama as well. But Edward is a FORMER senator and Obama's never had to fight the Full Brunt of the National Republican Machine. Clinton can beat the republicans, and in Politics, winning is the most important goal. A looser that shares your Ideals will never be able to Push our Agenda.
Hillary Can Win The General Election! She'll Be A Great President!!
With that "we can't fight the big bad enemy, he's too tough" philopsophy of yours there wouldn't even be a "Hillary" to debate over. She'd be in somebody's kitchen baking biscuits. In the end it comes down to how much corruption, games and bs Americans are going to continue to take or do they want "change
i believe that obama has no experience whatsoever politically and he still isnt ready....he needs one more year. I believe that hilary clinton is the best choice.....a women president is CHANGE too you know...clinton needs a chance.....America needs to have the 1st women president! Hilary all the way. Dont regret later that u could have had a women president 10 yrs from now.
wow...Oprah's idol supporting Clinton and not Obama.
For myself, I uses to be torn between Hillary and Barrack, but now that the dude is desperately getting/using the power of the talk show star, for some reason my nod has shifted entirely on Hillary. I don't want a president who can't stand on his own.
Interesting rationale, being that Hillary seems to be relying rather heavily on Bill. Not just a one time showing but throughout this entire campaign.
That's exactly what Al Gore should have done. That's just what Wesley Clark would have done.
It would be different if Bill was voted out of office, but fell victim to some idiotic term limit (imposed by voters before my time but well after Ben Franklin's).
It wouldn't hurt Democrats to listen to their Best Man and take a few cues from Bill, he's never steered us wrong.
Actually First, my above comment was in response to Sonmoon's reason for changing support from Obama to Hillary. I strongly disagree with you on Bill. I think he's having a negative effect on Hillary's campaign. He's divisive, negative and IMHO untrustworthy, but I see her that way as well.
One reason: I think it's dishonest to accept the amount of money from big corporations and special interest groups that Hillary accepts while at the same time suggesting to the public/mid class that she represents their interests, Feels reasonable for me to assume that anyone will represent their financial supporters. Obama has raised more money from individual contributors than anyone in the campaign, doesn't have the obligation to big biz that Hillary has. Neither does Edwards.

Hello...the man is a constitutional scholar.
If you really think he doesn't know how many states there are ...you are an idiot.
At the very least, you are so utterly desperate to bust is balls, that you make yourself look foolish.

I'm not with her on this one. I wonder when she made this, and if in light of all the
horrible things that the clinton have done during this campaign, does Dr. Angelou still feel the same way (hmmmm).

Remember that Maya has married white men. Maya has a lot of strange positions on life.

I love how you think it's strange for her to marry a white man. Did I say strange? I meant disgusting.
This woman supports out of loyalty and heart. That is commendable beyond your shallow wording.

Strange to some but most often correct-she's a force of wonder and inspiration and contemplation.

Marrying someone outside of your race = "strange positions"?! That makes absolutely no sense at all.
