Well, first off, we're talking about the trailer and how it doesn't make sense. Not the storyline itself. And second, that's just it. They died because the guy in the nanosuit just stood there instead of helping his fellow marines out. I said fellow marines because *SPOILER* the guy in it is a marine too. Which makes the fact that he preferred to look badass instead of helping them even more odd.

I mean really, who approved this trailer? The others are fine, but this is horrendous.

I don't think the game captured the awesomeness of this trailer. The campaign just turned into a bit of a tech demo for the new engine, it was good and engaging but felt a little empty...

@fihsy297 i agree. there's a great sense of desperation in the trailer, and they paint Alcatraz as that "only hope to humanity" really really well. i think the lack of proper cutscenes killed the story. there was a great story, it just wasn't told properly. but this game was rushed for release, so i know Crytek can do much better. really can't wait for Crysis 3 to see what they can really do.
