il grunge non è un vero genere, è solo un modo di identificare diverse band di seattle nate nello stesso periodo che avevo sonorità molto simili. I nirvana non si sono inventati niente, hanno fatto più o meno quello che avevano fatto 20 anni prima i ramones e i sex pistols, mettendo da parte i fronzoli del rock precedente. il vero rock secondo me è quello fatto di belle voci, virtuosismi, assoli di chitarra, suoni melodici..il rock progressivo degli anni 70, l'hard rock e l'havy metal degli 80

@ImEdostaR il termine GRUNGE non grounge se non sbaglio deriva da "sporco" e comunque c'era già un altro movimento che si chiamava così negli anni 60 in inghilterra se non sbaglio, comunque è stato coniato nel 1985 la "prima" volta da un membro dei Melvins e poi ha iniziato a girare nell'area di seattle perchè proprio in quell'area le band avevano sonorità molto simili, anche perchè spesso si prestavano i membri le band stesse, poi DOPO è stato usato dalle case discografiche

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST PERFORMANCE OF SMELLS LIKE TEEN SPIRITS.. other more recents performnces are great (@ Reading '92 for example) but tuned half step down and with that song isn't so good as the standard tuning!!

The voice is perfect too here and the feedback after solo!!

Koln and Reading (the first of the two concert) are other two great live of that song..made in 1991..a magic year
