I met cat before and she was pretty rude. I get that it was after a game and she probably wanted to leave but it's a bunch of 12 year old girls who look up to you the least you could do is fake a smile right? I've also met finch that same night and she was super nice. I'm gonna have to go with finch, personality and ability wise.

You can't really choose between these two pitchers. They are both amazing and are both great in their owns ways. They have different styles of pitching so you can't compare these two.

its so hard to choose...they are both amazing pitchers and role models. but i would definitely say jennie finch because her rise ball is fatal and she has taken softball to a whole new level and gives girls like me hope that someday i can make it to where she is right now

I have seen Cat Pitch live around twenty times and she is amazing just watching her warm up is an amazing thing We really miss her at Texas ! I had the privilage of meeting Jenny a few wks ago in RR at her husbands minor league game and have seen her on TV many times she too is just as amazing ! it's a tie I feel like they are the best two in the world and then the Japanese pitcher is third.

Ok i have caught for Cat before at a clinic and she and Jennie are two completely different pitchers. Jennie relies on her speed more then her movement. where Cat's not fast so she has to move the ball more. Jennie actually pitches to fast for the kind of movement that Cat puts on the ball. so they are both great just in different ways

I definatly think Cat Osterman is the better pitch. She is more domonent than Jennie Finch andhas almost inpossible movment. Jennie is Definatly a great pitch (or else she wouldnt be on the team) but Cats beyond her ability. Yes Jennie Finch does all the cool stuff like w/ the baseball on sports science but she is more outgoing than Cat. So she will do that kind of stuff. All in All i think Cat is the better pitcher.

as far as pitching, i think cat is taking over as jennie is getting older. but for the people talking about looks they are both very pretty. I have a cat story too.i live in illinois as does cat and about a yr and a half ago my friend and i were in bloomingdale's downtown. and we were walking around and my friend saw Cat. so she like grabbs my arm and is like omg its cat and so we didnt know if we should go up to her but then she saw us like staring with our jaws dropped n she like ran off lol

I am 12 years old and i play softball myself so i went to this turnament in arizona when i was 9 years old and cat was there i looked up to her but now i dont because i asked for her signiture and she would not give it to me! i was at the collage world sereis this year and i was sitting right behind cat and this little girl about 5 years old walked up to her and said can i have your signiture and she said no,leave me alone, get away from me. that is why i HATE CAT! but of course i LOVE JENNIE!

@rjsoftballstar dude she is kind of a bitch. When they played in San Diego about 5 years ago, the whole olympic team came out to give autographs & she kept tellin her teammates to hurry up. SHe was constantly tellin them to go. Luckily I got her autograph but didn't ask for a picture at all cuz I was scared lol.

Finch is slowly fading into relief only. Osterman is USA's ace. I guess Finch i trying to get a drop ball, realizing she can't get everyone with a smokin fastball and a riseball. you gotta have more than 2 pitches. she has an attempt at a change-up, but she leaves it high EVERY TIME and it gets jacked for a homer more often than not. Saw it in person. Three times.
