Is really fantastic!!!! 40 years later and all the power and magic of this incredible band is still intact, even stronger in my opinion ( just watch sweet young thing live at the fillmore ). And Dave Aguilar sings it like in the past ,like time just dont pass!!!

I always thought CWB did the best version of this song. I love the Elevator's version but this one hits me right in the heart. Gorgeous rick and flawless playing to boot!
Another cover of Dylans classic was done by the band - Them (inc. Van Morrison), it sounds exactly the same as Choc Watchbands version, either way Dylan covers are awesome 90% of the time check Everly Brothers Abandoned love
It's called Baby Blue because the Watchband shortened the name for convenience. They never heard Roky's version of it and had been playing it onstage for a year before they recorded it....and that's a fact!
The exact name of this song is " It's All Over Now, Baby Blue " composed and written by Bob Dylan, 1965. When Dylan was writing it, He'd remembered a Gene Vincent song. It had always been one of his favorites, " Baby Blue ".
I was there , too , and this song was a highlight , so was "I'm Not Like Everybody Else"...A bit of Dave's affinity for Johnny Rotten made it's way out....
Danny Phay was in the 1st Watchband that never recorded a song. Dave Aguilar sang on most all the other Watchband albums except where producer Ed Cobb added a studio voice or two. Dave Aguilar is singing this song and the original "Baby Blue"...
If you were in NYC at Cavestomp - this is what you saw and heard! .
6/08 HARD RUMOR WITH TEETH...The Watchband and Prunes may be touring Europe together this Fall with a possible warm-up show in Boston, SF or Portland..

Michael was playing it straight thru the amp...he saw it for the first time about 20 minutes he hit the stage!

The tone coming off that Rickenbacker is gorgeous. I'd like to know if he's using a bit of chorus pedal or some such.

Is this the classic CWB line-up (Gary, Dave, Sean, Bill, and Mark)? Dave sounds great, and the rest of the band are no slouches either!

You can still see glimpses of the power Dave had when he was 19, singing this song.

This one and the Elevators are the two best versions of this song ever. Dave Aguilar still sings it great.

This is called Baby Blue because it is a cover of Roky Ericson's version and he used the shorter name.

The guys can still cut it and are enjoying this. Great stuff

I actually really prefer this to the recorded version. It's cleaner, less overblown, and the lead singer isn't just mimmicking Mic.

This is incredible!!!
I mean the sound is like the original recordings is really fantastic!
I've seen the Chocolate Watchband in Rome year
2000 and it seems the sound was a little bit
"heavy" compared to this video.Of course was
memorable experience.
One of the beautiful song ever recorded.

So, this isn't the original singer on the record, right? It's Aguilar, but Danny Phay was the original singer, right, who sang on the records?
