Tutorial: Grungie Image Borders

This is a great tutorial and had been looking for one to do this for a while now. So you made my day totally. I have the Gimp not photoshop so hope it will work there as well. Can you make a video or tell how to do the inverted faded to back oval arround the picture that it has on it? I used to do that to pictures and I think they look more elegant but I don't remember how to do that and now i can't do it.

An easier way to do this would be to download some grunge brushes that you like and paint around the outside of the image. :-)

Andy yet, I could not learn from you on the tutorial of creating boarders/frames on photographs. I have a student version of CS4 extended, and I don't know if it is not supposed to have textures or not...it does not have them.
