I was talking to a friend of mine This guy comes into to the place he works at he helps him out. The guy continues to come to the place he works and they strike up a friendship. One day the customer needs help loading up some stuff in his truck so he helps him load his truck. Even if you protect yourselves by keeping the secret now - it will never be used as long as individuals own so much power (aka , the oil industry) Scientists go missing, or are killed by terrorists, etc. because they are the "few" that know how to do it.

Sharing the information will make it spread like a virus - more will make it, more will use it. They won't be able to stop everyone. Keeping it secret will most surely be your end.
