  • long live IDF!

IDF is the army of peace...the best one ever!

    long live israel fuck hezballah!

free lebanon from terrorism of islam! help the christians of lebanon! long live soutren army of lebanon!

  • There was no "Israeli war against Lebanon'' but Hezbollah Islamic agresion against Israel and Jewish people

  • @Tomislavv2 Let me tell you Tomislaw that if you pretend that Hezbollah has agressed Israel, how did Israel defended itself? Simply by killing the poor lebanese civilians whose voices will testify on that day when an equipped army has abused of civilians without defense. Please let your consciousnees talk before writng such comments. Regards.

  • @comtrad100

I do not ''pretend'' that Hezbollah made agression against Israel. Its a fact which wasn't denied by the terorrist group itself.Did Lebanese civilians died?Yes! and why? Because it was in interest of Hezbollah (and only Hezbollah) to have as much civilian death as possibal.Thats why it used mosques, civilian sites for amunition magacines, atacks and terror. This Islamist tactic of shaheda(sacrafycing people for propaganda and war) was used numerus times by Islamist all ower world

  • Why did the Israeli Army invaded a civil population? All the poor victims will witness in Dooms Day on what the Israeli Army made in those days and in earlier attacks. God will judge fairly the invaders. Israel is the name of Jacob (Servant of God) and not for a state created in force on the holy land.

  • @comtrad100

Israel is the name of the people and state with 3 500 years of history and 1000 years of statehood in the Land of Israel

  • @Tomislavv2 Please don't falsify the truth of the word Israel by giving it your interpretations. Be fair and not fanatic. Hope the future will show us who is wrong. Best regards.

  • part 2

If Israel would intend to target civilians in 2006 hundreds of thousands woud be dead. The only side interested in sacrafycing its own people were Hezbollah.

As the logo of one of the Islamic terrorist organization says

'We prefere death as much as you prefere life"The civilian casulties were important for Hezbollah to gain sympaty,to minimlaize the Israeli response,to survive to delay ground offensive and first and for most to victimise itself in acordance with Islamo-terrorist tactic

  • A little propaganda maybe? I agree with peace, but showing one side as the aggressors and the other as pure victim doesn't help either cause. Suffering was on BOTH sides. And who started, and who finished are not relevant. I'm sorry the images didn't bear our the message of the lyrics.

  • Drama queen! If Mexico was lobbing missiles into Texas, the same thing would happen. Don't lob Iranian missals; you won't need to make new Arab suffering videos.

    1)

    Il sole sorga

    e dia luce al mattino,

    la preghiera più pura

    non ci farà ritornare.

Colui la cui candela fu spenta

e che fu sepolto nella polvere,

un grido amaro non lo sveglierà,

    non lo farà ritornare.

  • How comes it always the bad thing ISrael does that people see, what about all the bombing and encouragment by the group fightinf israel and jews?

  • "Israel's War Against Lebanon" is almost as appropriate a title as calling D Day the "Allied war against France"

  • Association idiot

Stop the terror of Hamas, Hesbolla and there will be peace and prosperity.

  • @IshaShiri does it matter who is in right and who´s wrong?? Just stop the fucking war!!!! I don´t think that israelis and palestinians want war but the capitalism want it!!

  • @amareno84 Shalom Amareno:

What? Capitalism? Who wants war are the leaders of the terrorists. It is they who ultimately blowing the Palestinian people against us. The Palestinians who live and work in Israel live very well, or you do not know that? Palestinians living in Israel has all rights to any Jew. We, Jews, we can not even get in a Palestinian territory, imagine! You have to know better the reality of terror in order to give a better opinion.

  • @IshaShiri Hello my friend..you misunderstood my message. The leaders of terrorists are also capitalism. Everyone who prefer money than a human live is capitalism. I´m not a communist, but I guess human live are more important than money and political might..I´ve many friends from the so called arab48 and I know that they live good..and I know that the palestinians in 67 area don´t live good because of the corrupt palestinian governement and the radical hamas...

  • @IshaShiri ...and I also know that the jews aren´t pigs and that they are human like me and every other human on this world..The cry of a jewish mother who losts her son in the fucking war pains me the same like the cry of a palestinian mother.

  • @amareno84

    Hello,

Okay, now I understand and respect your opinion. May the peace be upon you!

  • Nice song. I love Israel and hope peace becomes a reality soon

  • There is a problem with this liics on it basics, even i like it very much, but two verses are not at all of jewish soul feeling.

    1) Hazaka shebatfilot

otanu lo tachzir (The purest of prayers

    will not bring us back)

    2)lo simchat hanitzachon

Velo shirei hallel (neither the victory cheer

nor songs of praise will help)

It is true that sometimes the gates of praises are like closed but t always helps and who knows when are closed? and a praise frm heart and tears is always listened.

  • ISRAEL LEGITIME DEFENSE !

  • Kind of agree, but to deny that those books do not contain any words of wisdom is naive... they do, as long as the words are not taken literally but are allowed to be used for reflection and thought...

  • Those books, or as we Individuals, know the book as a Torah. Says critical things you may not know, but that's your problem. Our territory is constantly being taken because we let others posses our area. Although we don't argue, look how others repay us. They want to take our full area away from us, not enough that we gave the people part of our land.

  • God of All, grant us all peace.

  • That being said, I know that there are plenty of Palestinians and Israelis who would, will, and have given their lives for peace. I think that when peace does come, we will see a far better world and a far better Middle East.

Only when both peoples realize that they have a shared future can peace and healing begin.

  • You are wrong about two points -

    1. The Palestinians Arabs (Today known as Palestinians), did not welcome the Jews into Palestine, there actually have been thousand of assault against Jews even in the 1860's.

    2. The Palestinians would never give their life for peace, I bet not even one would. They give their life for Land/Islam.

On the other hand, remember the "Victims of peace" policy in Israel?

  • Shalom...!

I love the Jewish people and I want peace.

    Shalu Shelom Yerushalaim!

    Iebarejeja HaShem!

  • I wonder...if instead of shouting "Death to the Jews!" and "Drive the Jews into the sea!"..I wonder how far ahead of the rest of the world we would be if the arabs would have said "Welcome home!"...I wonder?

  • I blame both countries, but why the lebanese people don't stand up to Hezbollah and say NO MORE. Why the fear ?

  • Comment removed

  • The Jews of Lebanon, if fact ALL JEWS, have a spiritual and national homeland - its the Land of Israel; where OUR forefathers, Matriarchs, Nevi'im, Gedolim... lived!

  • An interesting thing about this clip: it shows Israel attacking and Lebanon getting hit... but doesn't show the other side (Hezbollah attacking, Israeli civilians being hit)...

As Muki D said, everyone talks about peace, nobody talks about justice

  • Long live Israel!

  • LONG LIVE JUST PEACE , We are all humans who have the same worries and want ot live in peace

  • Part 1 Let the sun rise up Let the morning light The purest of the prayers Wont bring us back Those whom light went out And in the dust are buried A bitter cry wont light him. Wont make them return here. None will bring us back From a dark bottom pit
  • Part 1.5 ( :O )

    Here wont help)

    Not the joy of victory

    And not hymns of praise.

So just sing a song for peace!

    Don't whisper a prayer

You'd better sing a song for peace!

    In a great shout!

  • Part 2

    Let the sun penetrate

    Through the flowers

    Don't look back

    Leave alone the marchers

    Carry your eyes with hope

    Not through a rifle's sight.

    Sing a song for love

    And not for wars!

  • Part 3

Don't say a day will come

    Make that day today!

(Because not a dream he is)

    And in all the squares

    Cheer up for peace!

So just sing a song for peace!

    Don't whisper a prayer

Just sing a song for peace!

    In a great shout!

  • no, what's sad here is the fact that you- israeli who were soldiers in a proud fighting unit like the Nahal upload this pathetic pice of **** to here. that is the sad part. what the hell is that? you should be ashamed of yourself. there's no connection between standing for human rights or craving peace and supporting the Hizbolla's propoganda.

  • (continue)

i see you tryed to show damage pics of both sides, but never realised that for foriegn eyes there're just two sides in this clip: the bad soldiers, and the poor civilians. they cannopt tell an israeli who's house was hit 250 KM from the border, and a lebanies who's house was bombed for hiding ammunition in it.

  • May this song and video inspire the powers that be to correct the injustice caused by the Israeli government to Palestinians and Lebanese citizens. As an Israeli my heart is always with my palestinian cousins.

Make love not war!

  • love the smell of napalm in the morning

  • Sad that some war loving people feel the need to post their comments on here.

  • Good song but dosn't relect reality

  • however, the arabs have walked away from the table on three different offers without a counter-offer and then continue to support terrorism.

Go read Dershowitz's book "The Case for Israel" and don't believe what people like Finkelstein, Chomsky, Said, etc. say because they lie according to international facts.

  • (Part 2)

You also have to be aware of the conditions of the refugee camps in the neighboring countries.

You also have to learn the "arithmetic of pain". Arab agressors and terrorists target civillians such as women, children, and people at prayer to get strong (and justified compared to other countries) overreaction of the israel's govt. this overreaction triggers ignorant people like you to bash israel and sympathize for arabs and palestinians. Israel has tried to make peace throughout history

  • (Part 1)

All you people who are pro-palestinian, you need a better history and politics lesson. in 1948, the arabs launched an AGRESSIVE ATTACK on Israel. when israel defended themselves palestinians fled. they were not welcomed by neighboring countries despite the underpopulation of areas in trans-jordan (what is now the west bank) and saudi arabia, etc. the countries used these refugees as political pawns to get the world's sympathy. All of israel's wars have been defensive against arab attacks

  • shir lachalom!!!

    joyeux anniversaire israel!!!!

    :-)

  • Purely beautifull video.

I take the opportunity of this 60th birthday of the State of Israel to point the 60th year of strugling war and mysery for the palestinian people.

  • you don't realize that the terrorists are hiding in civilian houses. they chose to make the civilian casualties. you also don't realize that the terrorists don't care if innocent children are harmed, in fact it helps their cause by making people like you think that israel kills children.israel does everything it can to track down and kill terrorists but she can't be held repsonsible for every civilian casualty.

  • My God, My God, I pray that these things never end,

    The sand and the sea,

    The rush of the waters,

    The crash of the Heavens,

    The prayer of Man.

    Hannah Szenes (1921-1944)

  • @kochav23 I prefer this prayer... But Shir LaShalom is Beautiful too... "So just sing a song for peace

    don't whisper a prayer

Just sing a song for peace

    in a loud shout"

Is strong, I think that is true... But "Eli, Eli", is stronger, and hopeful

    Regards

  • you couldnt have said it better. toda

  • i understand some of it but based on my translation (which prob isn't correct/accurate), you contradict yourself on the last two lines. can someone please translate the message so i can tell if this comment is pro-israel or pro-lebanon

  • Hy, Can you tell me the name of the singer?

  • Lehakat Hanachal, The Nahal Military Group

¿usted habla Esperanto? ¿aplica lo que predica?

  • shir meod iafe, haval she kvar lo mekuval...vekulam rotzim od milhamot.

"Lakol zman va'eit tachat hashamayim... Eit milchamah, ve'eit shalom" (Shlomo Hamelech)

    Hayom hu eit milchamah.

    ***********

    This peace is killing us.

"Everything under the heavens has an appropriate time... There is a time for war and a time for peace." (King Solomon)

Today is a time for war.

  • just because we're in a War on Terror, that doesn't mean anybody likes to be in this war, we wish for there to be peace. it could be implied from your comment that you support the cause of the terrorists and that you like the chaos war creates...but i'm pretty sure that's not what you meant

  • Of course I don't support the terrorists, or the chaos they have created. Of course I want peace. Any reasonable person does. But not at the cost of my life, and my homeland. Sadly, tragically, we cannot have peace. The blind pursuit of peace - as suggested by this song - has brought nothing but tragedy and will continue to bring more. Sadly, tragically, now is a time for war.

If we would take our heads out of the sand, and fight this war, and win it, THEN, maybe we can have peace.

  • The idea that peace can only come through war has been explored many, many times, and has almost universally gone badly.

Do you honestly think that a prolonged conflict can bring any sense of peace at all?

  • (Part 1 of 4)

If only I had a nickel for every time I heard such psycho-babble without any facts to back it up. The fact is, many wars have been fought successfully, and brought victory and peace:

The American Revolution; The war of 1812; The Civil War; WWI; WWII; Israel's War of Independence; Israel's wars in 56 and 67.

In each of those cases, they reached total victory and peace, only to later throw it away (in some cases) through appeasement.

  • (Part 2 of 4)

On the other hand, EVERY attempt in history, to reach peace through appeasement has brought disaster. Oslo; Oslo II; Hevron; Wye; Sharm El Sheikh; The Gaza surrender; The Lebanon retreat. None of these "Peace" overtures have slowed down the killing for even a single day.

For decades, the peace movement has been killing Jews with the slogan "Give peace a chance." Well, we gave peace many chances, and it cost thousands of innocent lives. It failed. So now...

    GIVE WAR A CHANCE.

  • (Part 3 of 4)

You ask if I think a prolonged conflict will bring a sense of peace? No, but a short decisive one might. Also, even if it doesn't bring peace, it will at least end the slaughter of our children in their classrooms and malls and pizza stores.

Remember the intifadah, of 1988 -- 1993? Remember how the "peace" activists called for a peace deal, even if it meant painful concessions, because, they argued, "we can continue like this?" Well ask yourself this: Are we better off now?

  • (Part 4 of 4)

After 15 years of concessions and peace treaties, and peace gestures, and retreats, and creating a PA, and releasing killers from prison, and letting them elect Hamas, and giving them weapons, destroying Jewish towns -- are we better off now then we were during the first intifadah?

    All we are saying...

    Is GIVE WAR A CHANCE.

  • American Revolution led to the War of 1812... which led to the remainder of the Napoleonic Wars... Civil War led to martial law in the south for several decades. WWI rather obviously led to WWII... WWII led to the Cold War, Korea, Vietnam. And from the look of it, Israel isn't too peaceful at the moment either, so it wouldn't seem that '56 or '67 worked that well.

  • So, now that we've backed up the psychobabble, HOW were the Gaza surrender, Lebanon retreat, etc. peaceful solutions? You still have two armed, angry forces... it's not even a rocky ceasefire; it's barely a breath between wars.

  • I agree with you completely - we are no better off than we were in 1948. But it is specifically BECAUSE everyone is so completely convinced that they are in the right that the tiniest of violet acts can spark war.

  • Of course Oslo came to nothing. Nobody was really willing to give up anything. But peace through discussion never worked? What ended the 30 Years' War? Europe in 1815? Either of the World Wars? Why didn't we all fry in the Cold War? People were willing to negotiate through diplomacy.

  • (Part 1 of 10)

Please enlighten me as to how the Revolutionary War led to the war of 1812 (other than the mere fact that A preceded B).

The Civil War was followed by martial law, AND RESULTED IN PEACE.

WWI did not lead to WWII. Chamberlain's appeasement, and his failure to enforce the terms of the WWI surrender, led to WWII. The fighting of 1914 -- 1918 led to peace. The failure to fight in 1937 -- 1939 led WWII.

Please explain how WWII led to the Cold War or Korea.

  • (Part 2 of 10)

Korea was fought half-assed, and that's what led to Vietnam.

No, Israel is not enjoying peace at the moment, and that is a direct result of the "peace process." Israel was very well off before 1992, and would have been even better off had they completed the victory when the opportunity presented itself.

56 was a complete victory, and worked very well. The return of the Sinai in 57 is what caused the 67 War.

  • (Part 3 of 10)

Likewise the war in 67 was extremely successful. It was after the war that the problem was created by -- you guessed it -- the champions of peace. When the Jews took what is now referred to as "the West Bank," the Arabs ran for the Jordan. Those who remained threw flowers at the conquering Israelis. If only we'd allowed them to flee, there would be no "occupied territories" today.

  • (Part 4 of 10)

But Moshe Dayan (Y"S), ever the peace maker, had the IDF block the fleeing Arabs, and send them back to their homes. Then he went to Jerusalem, ordered the Israeli flag lowered from atop the Golden Dome, gave the keys to the Temple Mount to the Wakf, and banned Jews from praying there. That -- and not the military victory -- is what planted the seeds of current cancer. You want proof? Look at the Golan Heights. It was annexed in 81, no Syrians live there...

  • AND THERE IS PEACE.

    (Part 5 of 10)

It's clear to anyone with open eyes. Each victory brought peace. And then some "peace maker" came along and gave the Arabs back their strength.

    "Backed up the psychobabble?" Right!

  • (Part 6 of 10)

Of course the Gaza surrender and the Lebanon retreat were not peaceful solutions. But the "peace camp" promised they would be. That's exactly my point. Had we stayed and defended Gaza; had we stayed and wiped out the terror groups in Gaza; had we stayed in Lebanon, and wiped out Hezbollah there'd be a lot less dead Jews -- and Arabs -- today. But they wanted peace. They sang Shir Lashalom.

    And Jews buried their sons.

  • (Part 7 of 10)

We're no better off than we were in 1948, because we failed to destroy the enemy at every opportunity.

Oslo didn't fail for lack of willingness to compromise. Israel brought a terrorist entity into its land, armed it, gave it legitimacy & autonomy over much of the "west bank," and set in motion a plan to give them complete control over all of the "west bank". Jewish towns were uprooted. Killers were released from prison. Israel did everything short of turn the gun on itself.

  • (Part 8 of 10)

Oslo failed, because we enabled and empowered an evil implacable enemy moments before it would have died. To be more precise, Oslo didn't fail. It was intended to weaken Israel. And it succeeded at that.

  • (Part 9 of 10)

I don't know the history of Europe in 1815, but I do know that both World Wars ended when the enemy was pounded to its knees. And, mind you, these were Europeans. Even more so, this is true with the Arabs. They will fight you as long as they can, and kiss you when they can no longer fight. This is why the most successful military leader to face the Arabs was Ghengis Kahn. Not for nothing is it said, "An Arab is either at your throat or at your feet."

  • (Part 10 of 10)

We didn't fry in the Cold War, because of the doctrine of Mutual Assured Destruction. The willingness to go to all out war is what prevented blood shed, and ultimately resulted in victory.

  • Pedro Antonio.... Un poco idiota su comentario... Bastante infantil

  • ¿y pòrquè en inglés? ¿es necesario seguir el lenguaje del imperialismo???

  • We must work towards peace.

The moderates on both sides, we must come together for a two-state solution.

  • Too true, but this concerns Lebanon and Israel, so we should be talking about a 3 state solution. Israel should never have done what they did in Lebanon and neither should Hezbollah what they did in Israel with their rockets.

  • How about a 23 state solution? 22 for them, and one for us.

  • you are all stupid

  • Palestine is in Jordan!!

  • Images talk by themselves. Israel seem to be a nation which only understands and speaks violence. Too bad.

  • bendicktron, are you serious?! Who are you calling a nation who only understands and speaks violence?! Israel is not the one teaching their children that their greatest achievment in life is to blow up while killing innocent people! And lets not forget that Hizbolla shot over 150 rockets on Israel for over 3 and a half weeks! No country would tolerate that! And that's war you stupid hippie! People die!

  • Palestinians had never been forced to use irregular warfare until Israel came supported by Great Britain. ¿can you explain the 6 days war? An unjustified "preventive" attack? In this way of thinking, any nation who fears jews have also the right to attack first? ¿and what about Count Folke Bernadotte? Palestinians killed him?

  • ha ha ha you're so ignorant! You dare to bash Israel for the 6 day war but leave out the 1948 war and the yom kippur war?! There was plenty of proof the Arab world was planning on attacking Israel in 1967! Holy shit I'm shocked that you even compared that to Hezbollah! Did you get educated in a Palestinian school?

  • All israelies i know living here in Mexico are pretentious, racist, poser people. Instead, Lebanese are always fiendly, communicative, peaceful persons. THAT IS THE TRUTH!

  • When will you learn? We tried it your way - at great cost. We tried peace. We tried surrender. We even tried unconditional retreat. IT DOESN'T WORK! They want it all, not just the 67 territories. They want Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Haifa, all of it. And they won't stop even when we're floating on rafts in the sea. THEY WANT TO KILL US! And the world wants to let them! Do you get that??? (Apparently not) How many of our people have to die before you shalom-achshav-nikim get your heads out of the sand?

  • As long as i know, Palestinians were the original owners of Palestine, and Israel came in 1947 to steal.

  • "As long as [you] know"... I suppose your ignorance is excusable. You can also be pardoned for your arrogance. But the arrogance of ignorance, that's unforgivable... Look through all the encyclopedias and textbooks and archives, and try to find one document predating 1967 that mentions a "Palestinian" people. "Palestine" was Rome's (and then Britain's) pseudonym for Israel. There is nothing Arab about it. What's more, there never was an Arab nation called "Palestinians." The land is ours.

  • AS i said: pretentious and arrogant. I KNOW enough history. And i do ton need to talk with such a person who has been taught in a tendencious educational system.

  • Yes, you KNOW history. So tell me, what was the name of the President of "Palestine," when Israel invaded it in 1947? Anyway, it doesn't matter. This argument doesn't depend on history (see my next comment). You're right, I am tendencious. I have the right to be, because I'm right.

  • So you think you're in your right to erradicate them?

Yo may have been living in a cristal bubble. Read some Rohger Garaudy. Read real history. Of course, for a rational person, Bible, Torah or that false books are dangerous guides.

  • You idiot! Israel has belonged to the JEWS for 4000 years. The PLO came to steal it.

  • allright, tell me where OLP came from....

  • PLO. Created by Egyptian President Nasser in 1964 and Arafat was NEVER a Palestinian, but Egyptian himself.

  • ISRAEL IS THE GREATEST!!!

  • PEACE in the EAST

  • wow!!! live israel for ever! I hope the best to the isreli army "tzahal"

  • SONG OF PEACE (Shir LaShalom)

    Let the sun rise

    light up the morning

    The purest of prayers

    will not bring us back

He whose candle was snuffed out

and was buried in the dust

bitter crying won't wake him up

    and won't bring him back

  • Nobody will bring us back from a dead and darkened pit here, neither the victory cheer nor songs of praise will help So just sing a song for peace don't whisper a prayer Just sing a song for peace in a loud shout Allow the sun to penetrate through the flowers don't look back let go of those departed
  • Lift your eyes with hope

    not through the rifles' sights

    sing a song for love

    and not for wars

Don't say the day will come

    bring on that day -

because it is not a dream -

and in all the city squares

    cheer only for peace!
