I rep Louisiana and U.S to the fullest cause we migrated with the french to Louisisna which was named after the ruler Robert or something and we lived there since then my family grew and some moved to texas HOUSTON all day!

  • She is Black her Mom is creole we her family is creole and she doesn't speak the full language but just stop hating if you need to know watch the creole video and look for my comment and learn a little light skinned has nothing to do with it it's a mixture just the majority are light due to the mixing of the different races and I'm learning I kind of have the accent when I speak english if you listen closely in a deep conversation cause I'm used to ponouncing it like my family =]

Im from Louisiana too... and my English is way too fast speaking for non-creole or non Louisiana people to understand... i gotta repeat muhse;f like 3 times... People always think im from the Islands or Africa or Haitian lol

  • Beyonce' is half creole. Tina Knowles (birthname Tina Beyonce') both parent where french speaking creoles from Lousiana. The creole culture, myself, still claim her, her mother, and sister solange as creole woman. A lot of half or part creole, like myself again, prefer to ourselves as black or african american. So....

  • who is the interviewer

  • @hotplaye999 How in the world do you preach "black power" yet deny someone's blackness simply because they are light skinned? 90% of blacks have another race somewhere in their lineage. We are not a pure race, so stop trying to divide us based on light or dark complexion.

  • @Missdelicious1 ....we are not a "race"...we are an ethnicity....."Race" was made up by Europeans to validate their exploitation of non-Europeans...

  • @PeluMaad Wrong. Please look up the definitions of race and ethnicity. Your ethnic background is based on your culture/language/customs. Your race has more to do with physical characteristics based on ancestry. For example many blacks do not share the same ethnic/cultural background. There are Jamaicans, Hatians, Nigerians, Somalians, Dominicans, Brazilians, etc. who are of the same race- black, yet do not share the same ethnic background.

  • @Missdelicious1 ...who's "definition"? My ancestry is West African, Celtic and Sephardic...which makes me a "black" American. Black Americans share ONE thing...they "look" to be of at least partial African ancestry....other than that we're all kinds of "racial" mixtures. The idea that partial African ancestry negates all other ancestry is nothing more than white bigotry...and we mindlessly adopt far too much of that.

  • Comment removed

  • @Missdelicious1 ....There is NO such thing as "race". It is IMPOSSIBLE to say where one "race" ends and another begins.

  • @Missdelicious1 ...."Race" is NOT a valid scientific concept. Species is NOT equivalent to "race". Can you name an animal that has "races"? "Black" is my ethnicity. It denotes a group that shares culture and history and more generally speaking ancestry. Most "black" Americans are of mixed "race" ancestry. Do you subscribe to the racist "one drop" idea that white must be pure?

  • @Missdelicious1 shes is so fake shes been white washed completly

  • @quitanita2010 I guess I'll have to take your word for it since clearly you know her well enough to make that comment. Thanks for the intelligent, helpful comment.

  • @Missdelicious1 ...we are NOT a "race"..."Race" was created to justify white supremacy and exploitation and it has NO scientific validity...

  • @Missdelicious1 .... Free your mind and your ass will follow

  • There has been research done on Beyonce's ethnic background and it has been confirmed that she is of Haitian heritage. Her great granparents were Haitians. Her mother is a Louisiana creole that has Haitian in her blood.

  • Creole is basically another version of French. Its like french slang

  • Im haitian to lol

  • Beyonce! This your cousin..lol I'm telling Aunt Dee! Stop lying lol OMG, I still love u tho

  • I'd eat her shit.

  • @hotplaye999 wtf ?lol umm hatians are mixed with french ,but the french didnt realy mix with them because they didnt beleive in that so they carry stronger african roots than dr or folks in america but louisiana creoles always puzzle me because when did they get there lol imma look it up but the african diaspora is one of the most beautiful and exiting topics that i like to look up but it also has its pain and bad trials but lol why be racist to whites every one originated in Africa

  • @brendout20 Haitians are actually very mixed in race. You should probably look up more videos about Haiti. There are mixed, mulattos, whites, etc in Haiti. A lot of us are mulattos by generation and there are even CHINESE HAITIANS just in case some of you guys didn't know that.

  • @hotplaye999 skin dont mean a dam thing juss because sum one light dont make them light nd juss to let u know there a place in haiti called font des blancs tht every body ova there is light skined so get ur facts straight # pist the fuck offf -_-

  • who gives a shit where she comes from? i don't! she is human just like us and exceptionally talented. stop acting like cats and dogs!

  • @zinobia14 she is not human, she is a sex object, im sorry i have no respect for her, she is a cyborg designed to destroy the youth, and dehumanise the very essence that makes us human,

  • @acerza89 agreed. she's just another sellout prostituting her talent for the entertainment industry.

  • @acerza89 so why come on here and watching videos of her? You obviously enjoy it.

  • This still doesn't proves she comes from a "Haitian" background... At the end of the day whatever she is, she is a very gifted individual

  • whats the name of the song at the end?

  • @Bigmarv58 Imamou Lele- by Boukman Eksperyans

  • @jekylei99 thank you

  • BRAZILIAN in this bitch.. come voce esta lmfao

  • Haiti, Martinique, Louisiana, and all French Creole speaking countries all have their own Creole language/patois and culture just like their different but relative musics and gumbos. The roots are from the many, many big and little tribes of West Africa and the last port is New Orleans. 2000 slaves from W. Africa were in LA by 1726 and the Attakapas Parish 1810 census is 21% Refugee Acadians, 31% Free Black, 48% Slave. (No listing for the Marronage LOL)

  • this video straigh up started a freakin war..lol Im not understanding y ppl feel the need to start hating on haitians..Lets put it this way Haitians n LA creoles were both african colonies that were enslaved by the french. And due to slave trades its possible that one colony could have influenced the other. Beyonce is not HAITIAN..N being creole does not mean ur haitian..there r hundreds of dialects of the language all over thre world. Please stop going apeshit over this.

  • oops 4got she had haitian in her fam

  • @wessind That comment is SO OLD! *lol* Find you somethin' better to do then to comment on old posts ok? *lmao!* this internet shit is TOO funny!!!!

  • @JazzyeSoSassy ur ass just has nothing to say.. u crack me up the internet is funny so y da fuk u on it. N because the comment is old doesn't mean i can't reply to it, because in ur mind it's better o let ignorance reign.. thats why ur country is in this turmoil bc dumbasses like u r cocksure n intelligent ppl like myself sit here and doubt whether we should reply or not. Well i did..

  • Haitians are awesome....and haitians are not only black. Im haitian and Im mixed. and yes,I speak creole. And someone cannot be creole, but they can be haitian. Creole is just the language that haitians speak.

  • Comment removed

  • to the LA creoles, why is Haitian creole so similar to LA creole. They are practically the same thing. Creole is Creole and alot of LA are of Haitian decent. Haitians fought in the Savannah war in the US. Ever heard of Plessy vs Ferguson? A light skin blonde hair, blue eyed man of Haitian decent, from Louisana. Get educated ppl.

  • @haitianmajic THAT STIIL DNT MEAN THAT ALL CREOLES ARE HAITIAN THAT JUST MEANS THAT ALOT OF THEM ARE. PEOPLE FROM BELIZE SPEAK CREOLE ALSO AND IT SOUNDS NOTHIN LIKE WAT HAITIANS SPEAK. THERE ARE SEVERAL DIFFERENT DIALECTS OF CREOLE SO THE ONE WHO NEEDS TO BE EDUCATED IS U!

  • @tangy608 how ignorant are you? Can you not read??? I indicated that "Creole is Creole and ALOT of LA are of HAitian decent". You wrote "that just means that ALOT of them are" You ignorant, uneducated scum. You just regurgitated everything I said. Did I say that ALL creoles are of HAitian decent? NO You need to educate yourself you ignorant nigger. You wonder why your will never thrive. It's because they can't read or comprehend.

  • That's not creole. Doesn't sound like Mauritian Creole at all.

  • @chsn09 iKnow! My homeboi && iWere just talkin' abt that the other day! Like um . . . haiti is its OWN island creole culture originates outta louisiana! How they think that conisides, idk! *lol*

  • @JazzyeSoSassy Thanks! It is just getting ridiculous

  • @JazzyeSoSassy U r wrong.. creole culture did not originate out of Louisiana! Are you stupid? correction..You are stupid along with ur dumbass friend chsn09.. do some research befor eu come spewing ur crappy nonsense here. and it's coincides not coinsides.. How da hell can Haiti have its own island creole when those Haitian refugee slaves brought it over. Do u even know where creole comes from? It's a waste even hearing u ppl argue bout shit u have no clue about... *lol* that

  • @PrinceCharmless WOW! Was iEven talking to or refering to you? iDon't understand why ppl take it upon themselves to comment on what another person has posted when it has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with them! I'll tell you what PrinceCharmless, your the DUMB ASS for even refering your comment to me next time speak when spoken to. *lol* BTW: If & when you do respond, feel free to finish this little "spat" by yourself, iHave better things to do with my time! *lol* This internet shit is TOO funny!

  • @JazzyeSoSassy I don't know why Haitians are claiming the Creoles of Louisiana smh. They claim everything in French smh!

  • @chsn09 Haitians are mostly if not 100 % responsible for creole in Louisiana.. stop blogging and go do some research u dumbass..

  • wait a minute why we talking like that if we wanna know more go ask her what nation or whta kind of people she from STOP SAY SHIRT ABOUT THAT whatever she is FOR ME I DONT CARE

  • cool.

  • CREOLE consists of african, indian, and french! My homegirl's creole! It has NOTHING to do with haiti or jamaica!

  • @JazzyeSoSassy yeah and thats exactly what haitian culture and language is dumbass, its a mixed of african indian and french, thats what creole is, thats why thats the language they speak in HAITI

  • @JazzyeSoSassy Yes creole consist of all that but what Island were most of them from and how did the culture develop?

  • Beyonce mom iz Guyanese wat the hell r dese ppl tlk,,, the news in guyana also shows where her mom use to live, dnt believe book a dam flight to Guyana and come see for ur self, Beyonce maybe learnt to speak haitian an she no's may other languages.

  • @sweetpiegt english is spoken in guyana ..i think there also some form of creole

  • Yes there is a difference between Hailtain and Louisiana Cajun French! We can still understand some but Its a whole different dialect- get it straight people!

  • ya..wow..big deal.

  • Her parents decided on her first name as a tribute to her mother's maiden name. Her maternal grandparents, Lumis Albert Beyincé and Agnéz Deréon (a seamstress), were French-speaking Louisiana Creoles who are also from Haiti. Her mother born here did not learn creole and did not teach it to B, a lot of people do that to their kids. In the 60s Beyonce's grandmother did not think it was cool to teach her daughter creole since it was not cool to be associated with Haitian back then.

  • @CarlaLOVeHaitiCreole: SHE IS NOT HAITIAN Nor her Family. The people of Louisiana Back then were ashamed of their Mixed Race from Spain and France. Every Culture migrates everywhere and anywhere they want, but the Creole Louisiana people are NOT HAITIAN.

  • @mybrownb the louisiana creoles were from haiti which used to be known as hispaniola, you dont know what you talking about

  • @PrinceCharmless100 Wrong. Louisiana Creoles ain't got anything to do w/ Haiti. I know it sucks that you are jealous of the Louisiana Cteoles but we are NOT Haitians. Never were and never will be.

  • @PrinceCharmless100: UNTRUE! ..and will NEVER BE RESOLVED. Majority of People are not well educated in diff. cultures and their History.

  • Comment removed

  • @PrinceCharmless100: The Louisiana Creoles DID NOT come from' Haiti to Colonies in US Louisiana. The Word CREOLE was used to Distinguish European Slaves (Louisiana Creoles) from New Slaves brought Directly from Africa. ***Of Course Over the Years now, including TODAY, as we all know; many leave their Country whether it's Europe, Africa, China, Jamaica, Haiti etc... and Come Live in all parts of the US. So of Course you’ll find Many Cultures including Haitians or Haitian Descents in the US..

  • @mybrownb Most of The Creole in Louisiana are of Haitian descent and that is a fact.

  • @CarlaLOVeHaitiCreole Uh, actually Louisiana Creoles are different from Haitians big time. Back in the day the USA Anglos tried to destroy the Louisiana Creoles because of our Latin culture. It had nothing to do w/ Haiti. The USA preferred Louisiana Creoles over Haitians anyway most of the time.

  • @chsn09 who cares? All languages are important to interact with others. Haitian creole will always be a beautiful language for Haitians and aliens who hear us speak it. It sounds good for Aliens. Anytime I'm on a Bus Americans keep asking me what language you speak? French? I said no Haitian Creole. They say:"wow sound good" It's sound like French. I know people would like to identify themselves with Hatian Creole only if Haiti was a rich country.

  • @CarlaLOVeHaitiCreole You care. And good for you. All I know is that Haitians should stop claiming the Louisiana Creoles! =] Creole languages are beautiful!

  • @chsn09 who claim Louisiana Creoles? All Haitians are creole so do Louisiana people. why can't they say Beyonce is proud of her creole Heritage? No one say Beyonce is Haitian. They say she is Creole and there is a relationship between all creole speakers and all the languages are similar in some ways. so what the deal?

  • @CarlaLOVeHaitiCreole You're missing my point. Many Louisiana Creoles don't like being associated w/ USA because they feel the Anglos and USA destroyed their culture. But they don't like being claimed by Haitians either. There is nothing wrong w/ being Haitian though. Don't be ashamed of it. You should embrace your Haitian-ness!

I love being of Louisiana Creole descent and don't ever have to claim anyone else. ;)

  • @chsn09 The disconnection to Haiti was systematically implemented in LA Creole culture. I can give you the pinpoint year and the who and they that were involved, because I actually know what I am talking about. Not only are most LA Creole of Haitian descent, but there are a small number of Haitian of actual LA Creole descent.

  • @chsn09 The LA Creole in the 18 century have their reason for disconnect, but the only reason these fake creole in LA and else where want nothing to do with Haiti is because of its current state of poverty.

  • @Angrygumballl That is totally NOT true. It has nothing to do w/ poverty. It has to do w/ ethnocentric claims and exaggerations being perpetuated. Show me proof that most Louisiana Creoles descend from Haitians because it just is NOT true.

  • @chsn09

    well said

  • @chsn09 What was the population of city of New Orleans prior to The Haitians mass migrations? What was the the population of New Orleans before the Haitians mass migration?

  • @chsn09 Before the Haitians arrived what was The population of Louisiana and The City of New Orleans?

  • @Angrygumballl couldn't agree with you any more ... if Haiti was doing well all these moochers would be more than happy to claim their Haitiana heritage. All these so called louisiana creole need to stop with their b.s and take some history classes. The whole creole stuff started IN HAITI and spread to the other creole speaking islands when their masters moved them to guadeloupe, dominica, martinique and YES louisiana. ( A little Food for thought).

  • @alphaphi09 So true ! If it wasn't for the French Haitians, Mulatto Haitians, and Afro Haitians there would be no such thing as CREOLE to begin with. Haiti is the BIRTHPLACE of the creole heritage movement. People have been really messed up in the heads by the media when it comes to Haiti. I been reading some of these comment on all of Beyonce's creole videos and I saw that some people said that Haitians aren't creole. WHAT ? Some of these people need a HISTORY lesson, fast and quick. No joke ..

  • @soymezclado44 if anything Haitians are the most croele

  • @soymezclado44 if anything Haitians are the most croele

  • @soymezclado44

No you're wrong, creoles formed when the french travled down south from canada into lousiana and mixed with the native americans and the free blacks. THe hatians SPEAK creol, some of them are mixed, but they are not creole in the lousiana context, because there is no native american.

  • @dancingwithcalvin Actually you're wrong. The French that came from Canada that mingled with the native americans and free blacks are called the CAJUNS ! And the Haitian diaspora Has not Native American ? Are you not aware that the FIRST Haitians are Native TAINO INDIANS ? There are many Haitians with Indian DNA such as me for example. Also, Not all Louisiana creoles have Native american in them. Some off them are just multi- generational mulattos.

  • @soymezclado44 RIght, I know the french by themselves were just cajun. Well I belong to the group of blacks who moved out of louisianna to LA during the forties. I have your skin color, (assuming thats you in your picture) Most of my family has lighter skin than me. Hey do you speak french?

  • @alphaphi09 I'm Dominican, with some Haitian lineage and proud :) Trinidad was another creole island don't forget

  • @bajanboy883 ....Uhhh...wouldn't that be "criolio"? Aren't most countries in the Americas very mixed "racially"...even the good ole black and white USA?

  • @PeluMaad No There are French-Creoles in Trinidad. They speak simmular to haitians

  • @bajanboy883 ....and Guadeloupe and Martinique...and there's even a Frenchtown, St Thomas, US Virgin Islands...

  • @PeluMaad yep :)

  • @chsn09 Haitians people have a lot of celebrities in America. They don't want to claim Beyonce. They just want to make a bond which is true. Why do people easily want to link themselves with Americans? the reason is because America is a rich nation. Life on Earth is all about popularity, and money. If Haiti was a rich nation, I bet you would love us to claim beyonce. iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii wow

  • @CarlaLOVeHaitiCreole

  • @PrinceNoirAmericain Vous voulez dire "Vous êtes", not "Vous soyez"

  • @chsn09

  • @chsn09 La raison de plus fort est toujours la meilleure! it's not about the language, but it's all about popularity, power, reputation. WOW I wonder what you think about us.

  • @chsn09 It's not about Beyonce, but all about who is Beyonce. It's not about Beyonce is a good singer, but it's all about singer of what country? rich? poor? It's not about people claim Beyonce, it's all about what category of people who claim her. It's all about who are you_Your social status.

  • @CarlaLOVeHaitiCreole I have Haitian friends and I have eaten Haitian food and even have Hautian rum and I have travelled to Haiti!

  • @chsn09

    well said

  • Creole sounds like a really good pancake!

  • Sak Pasé, N'a Boulé

    What's Up? I'm fine!

  • Comment removed

  • Why do people associate Haiti with ONLY being black? How do you think Haitians, got to Hispanola and learned french? Most Haitians migrated to Louisiana so there is a connection. Haiti was pretty much abandoned by the French after the uprising of the slaves. So, alot of the Haitians that were of french descent migrated to the USA. Just because they were of french descent does not mean they were not Haitian also!

  • @numonemofan: BEYONCE & HER FAMILY ARE NOT HAITIANS or HAITIAN DESCENT. I can't believe she does not know the Difference. SHAME on this Woman Every time she opens her mouth...WOW!

  • She never said she or her family was Hatian. What are you talking about?

  • @numonemofan well Hispanola was mostly spanish until the french came and took part of the island bringing there own slaves and the spanish people didn't want to have nothing to do with the french... The haitians those on the boarder line learned some spanish but the rest just mostly learnt french... Most Didn't Know the language of Spanish.... Now Most of the haitians Aren't Black... because Of the french people

they Ain't Black they white... plus there were German officials who were white

  • Comment removed

  • @numonemofan Respond to this video... But Still Good Point... Still Doe Understand Why people think Haitians are only BLACK!!! it's ridiculous!...

  • @numonemofan

THE FRENCH had territory in present day US did you forget that?

  • @celph414 Yeah but they weren't as populated as people are lead to believe. In fact there has never been a mass migration of Frenchmen to any of the American 50 states. Most people who claim there are of French descent are either Haitian or Canadian.

  • @numonemofan I agree with you all the way. Haitians are NOT only associated with being black because they come in ALL races and ethnicities. Go to Haiti and you will even find middle eastern and Chinese Haitians. Its the fact that the media has painted a picture of Haiti, and made it seem like only blacks reside there. The media doesn't parade mulatto and mixed Haitians at all to the public . Which is why so many stereotypes are held on Haitians, when it comes to race. Ignorance is Bliss...

  • @jolie8701 it's the same thang, how are you, wats up, wat it do, wats going on.sak pase is just another word we tend to use the actual way is coma ou ye,and you would reply ,mwen byen

  • Sak pasé does not mean " how are you" it means " what's up"

  • Cessez de se battre, en le créole haïtien est une langue à part entière qui est différent des autres créoles, c'est pas un dialecte!

  • Sak Pasé Queen Bee :p

  • Sak pase does not mean how are you. Sak pase means "What's up"

  • THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE IN BEING CREOLE AND BEING HAITIAN HAITIANS SPEAK A DIFFRENT DIALECT OF CREOLE THAN THE CREOLE PEOPLE KNOWN AS CAJUNS. SHES A FREAKIN AIRHEAD

  • @tangy608

The guy went up to her and asked her about creole, what you want her to say, "I'm not fucking Haitian"?

  • @godofthisshit BASICALLY!!!! BCUZ SHE'S NOT HAITIAN Y LIE TO KICK IT KEEP IT REAL!!!

  • @tangy608

She didn't say she's Haitian, she said he's Creole(Not Cajun). The same way you didn't know the difference between New Orleans(American) creole and Cajun, is the same way she probably don't know all the details on the different creoles.

Are you a Airhead for you error? Give her a break.

  • @godofthisshit Cajuns are descendants of Canadians from Quebec and Most Creoles are descendants of Saint Domingue Haitians.

  • Is she sayin' "now booty"?Cause if so,she got a big ol' booty.

  • haitians arent the only ones who speak creole. they are 3 types of creole. i speak creole and im not even from haiti. you guys should check out the french west indies islands

  • @maliana509 THANK U!!! ALL PEOPLE WHO SPEAK CREOLE R NOT HAITIAN.
