When this show was broadcast in the US, I remember hearing this theme (minus the vocals) in the back ground occasionally. Man, I miss watching the early (AND GOOD) animes on TV...Sailor Moon, Ronin Warriors, DB, DBZ, Yu Yu Hakusho...now I can't really get into stuff like One Piece or Bleach. It's not that those two shows are bad but I think once American networks realized Anime was popular we were flooded with anything that was an anime. Cheers to Toonami and the mid 90's to early 2000's. Peace.

@doujinftw2 You know, Gundam and ( Tenchi Muyo is another one) were shows that I never really got that chance to sit down and watch seriously like the other shows. I caught an episode of Tenchi once and it was pretty awesome. I think I would have liked Gundam.

@BrandnEwkid That does sound kind of cool. I just wish Cartoon Network would get their shit together. They think they are doing the anime fans a service buy airing anime ONLY on a Saturday/ Sunday, starting at 12 AM, and lasting until the early hours of the morning. I like anime, but screw that. I am not staying up until about 3:30 AM to see an episode of CowBoy Bebop. That channel sucks pretty hard now with having reality shows and Adult Swims, once funny, but now lame programs on.

@thetrophyone trust me i liked all the animes you listed and could't get into one piece. I did like bleach but only for the first season, then they bombarded my innocent mind with seasons of fillers. And yeah we did get flooded with crap, thats why I'm trying to dig up some oldies

@Jwcmack Cool, so it 's not only me who wants to turn and run the other way when a new anime is talked about or shown on TV. Full Metal Alchemist is another anime that I can't find one good reason to watch, or it's remake FMA Brotherhood. The best cartoon to come out of Japan, and get put on air by cartoon network recently: SHIN CHAN. Yes, the story sucks. But at least there are dirty jokes. I'd take a dumb and funny show over the new animes which are just so dumb it's ALMOST funny.

Nah, Saint Seiya (Knights of the Zodiac in US) is much more... bloody. Not on the Fist of the North Star gore level, but still much less... kid-friendly than Ronin Warriors. Ronin Warriors was a sort of Gundam interlude for Sunrise, and to try the five shounen formula as to apply it successfully on Gundam Wing :P

Plus, if I recall correctly, Ronin Warriors was actually a sort of what Robotech was to Macross... an American version using the same premise and pretty much storyline, even footage (Power Rangers, anyone?) I can't remember the full name of the original series... Samurai Troopers something, but yeah XD

Very Enjoyable show but can anyone else agree that the script was probably a little weak? The story itself is a hook, like when they were all separated, I thought that was interesting how they had to go to their armor origins and stuff. But now that I'm older I can see that there are some flaws in the pacing of the story; it's too fast.

I remember I watched this at some point in my life... when Televisa was trying to come up with kid's show that could compete with TV Azteca showing Saint Seiya, Sailor Moon, Dai no Daibouken and Magic Knight Rayearth... they tried with this and didn't work out too well, but I liked it XD Kinda like Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs... or something like that XD Then along came Dragon Ball and all went downhill since then... oh the good times XD

Ronin Warriors was a superb anime. I wish it lasted longer than 39 episodes. (45 if you count the 6 OVA episodes)
