yes, Metal Gear Rising WILL have Snake. Rising "FEATURES" Raiden as a playable character. It features him, my best guess is that it will be fairly similar to Sons of Liberty. You play half with Raiden and half with Snake.

Actually, no. As far as I remember, the ORIGINAL MEMBERS of the Philosophers were already dead by the WWII, being the last of the original members to die The Boss' father in the 1930's. But the "structure" of the Philosophers remained and them were replaced by new members, who were all wiped out by Ocelot at the end of the FOX revolt.

I guess his interpretation of a balanced world is a world of chaos. Remember, in the narutal world before Law and political rules , the world was in chaos without laws and rules governing peoples lives. The philosophers governed peoples way of life in a global scale. Gene tried to eliminate that control and bring chaos to the world because in a chaotic world humans are truly free to do what they want to do. Its a violent world but in reality, its the ultimate truth of our planet.
