whenever i choose real instrument and turn the monitor on
my speakers make a VERY loud and very high pitched ring this is recent
i'm doing things i have done successfully to record (i.e. same guitar, same cable)
even when nothing is plugged in and GB is running i get the ringing. also i noticed that if i record for about 5 seconds it plays whatever is in the background 5 seconds ago. i think it's some sort of mic turned on.
@mightyjake182 Hey man I know what your problem is.. .I think. Are you using a laptop? My laptop does that too, and when the computer's running, it makes a high pitched sound that the speaker your computer is picking up. Use a plug in mic.
@Purplefrag6 actually i wasn't on a laptop. and my problem was that someone else switched to the Internal mic on the Mac we were using. fixed now haha. i appreciate the effort and help though, thanks.
Hello , when i connect my lambda interface in garagaband and i try to choose monitor, i dont se nothing, i cant mange the volume (below) monitor control. YOu explain that in 0:35 in this video.
im using an audio interface, and my mic can either be plugged into left or right inputs in the audio interface, which later are only played out of the left or right speaker, but not both... but id like it to play out of both... is there a way in garageband software to change that??
you could use that kind of cable OR you could buy a 1/4" to 1/8" converter, that way you could plug in your guitar to the converter and then plug this one into the mac... that's how i do it. Plus, those converters are usually very cheap
WHEN I RECORD MY SONG THAT I CREATED USING MY GUITAR IN GARAGE BAND THEN HOW DOES THE SOFTWARE FOLLOW IT .I CANT GET ITTO DO IT
