There are two switches on this bass, one of them is a pick up selector (i think) and the other one is a button that presses downwards. do you know what the button that presses downwards does?
Very clean and nicely done. Of interest, Carol Kaye used/uses a pick with her base playing, giving her that crisp sound in her R&B bass lines. Thanks for posting.
Love it but James doesn't actually play the bassline on this track - the instrumental track was recorded in Chicago and wasn't played on the bass quitar =D
Very, very impressive. Really nice bass sound coming through.

Bravo! Very well done.
I love this Jamerson line with the triplet feel.
My favorite part is the Dm7 flat 5 in the verse.
Only James Jamerson could come up with a cool expression like that.
You did a beautiful job with it. Thanks for posting.

You close the door to your heart and you turned the key, locked your love away from me.
{chorus} Look what you `re done, look what you`e done.
You stripped me of my dreams, you gave me faith, then took my hope, look at me now
{chorus}Look what you `re done, look what you`e done.... Read More
My heart cries out for your touch
But you're not there
And the lonely cry fades in the air
{chorus} Look what you `re done, look what you`e done.
This is a great song i love it.

Fabulous talent you have.
Fabulous record only ruined by the backup vocals behind Ross. But, you make up for it :) :)
