Its the oldest of polish highways and it's going to be rebuilt soon. It's easy to criticise, but we have 40 years after communism to gain. Other higways are in much better condition. You should took the A4, if you wanted to drive smoothly. You probably showed the worst part of your trip in PL and you sooo happy. Like a child.

I think communism has nothing to do with our presence situation, it's passed 20 years since 1989 and Poland is democratic country now, but mentally we're still living in communism as society.
