He's doing fine, they kid probably panicked a little bit when he saw he was going into the bushes. We all know that feeling, and then we learn from it. He could have gotten hurt, but he was ok, just scared more than anything. And quit your bitching about the mom standing there, he didn't have a bone sticking out and he was wearing a helmet. The kid's fine. Besides, it's little crashes and burns that build character and make him suck it up when he crashes hard when he's older.

My favorite part is how frantic the dad looks to get that bike, possibly so that the neighbors didnt know it hit their bush/house. Good though, he was really getting the hang of being smooth with the gas until the end. BTW yall are doing a good job, my dad dropped my dirtbike going 5 miles an hour when he taught me how to ride. So i would say you all are doing a great job by comparison at least.

I think the parents are doing just fine! Its better that he learns now instead of getting older and secretly buying a crotch rocket behind his parents back when he gets older. Then crashes that! Those little bikes dont go that fast and you can tune them down so they hardly accelerate. I crashed a 4 wheeler my first time on it. 2 months later i was doing wheelies and donuts :) gotta get back up after you fall!

@dozzer98 well yea they are decently quick if you have them fully open. with the set up that kid had on the bike it wasnt going to go very fast. Besides a 50cc is a 50cc, even another 50 isnt going to be a very dramatic difference. You have to start somewhere and that bike will atleast give him something to grow into.
