  • He should have beat the guy who suggested the pastel colors for "Signs of Life" to death with a copy of this album. This whole album is loaded with classic Squier! My opinion...it's Don't say No pt.2

  • nice windmill at 4:17 SQUIER ROCKS!!!

  • Great song, great video, great artist - Billy Squier!

  • One of my FAV Squier gems. This should've received wide rotation. A truly profound song with VERY cerebral lyrics.

  • i dont like the singing too much but the music is KILLER!! i would love an instrumental version of this song (that would be awesome!)

  • Great song, and no pink tank top:)

  • I caught him on tour in 1989 on by birthday, and it was an excellent song. It's too bad that the record company didn't see fit to have this as a major single because I believe that could have helped bring him back into the limelight, especially since power ballads were the big thing in the late 80s.

  • Im lovin the mandolin

  • Always loved this song

  • This song brings back MEMORIES .. good and bad --- I should have listened when my real true love played this song for me 20 years ago and begged me not to let him go!! Never should have walked away-- biggest mistake I've even made

  • I always said this song should have had more radio airplay when it was released. Great comeback song for Billy, he doesn't sell out to the latest fad, true to the music.

  • Awesome performance by Crespo....

  • @bolivraga -LOL! He didn't play on the track.

  • Billy Squier is the shit!!!Gawd I love this stuff!!!!!!!!Thanks guys...

  • Love you LIZA F

  • Great Billy Squier song. Thanks!

  • Ex -Aerosmith guitarist Jimmy Crespo in the vid as well. I did interview with Jimmy back then and Billy was jealous and introduced himself to me LOL.

  • Fuckin' awesome

  • My very favorite song by Billy Squier. One of the best singers I have ever heard.

  • I love this

  • who ever the fuck put thumbs down on this should be ashamed

  • Anyone know where I can find tabs for this song?

  • @nowonyuno - I don't know of any tabs for the tune, but I know the main parts. Let me know if that will help.

  • I think KIp Winger tried to look like Billy in this video ?

  • EPIC, TIMELESS

  • I never understood why Hear and Now didn't put Billy back on the map. Some of his most brilliant work waas never picked for singles. All of Don't Say No could have been released one song at a time for 10 years and the critics would have called Billy a godsent genius. I still do.

Hey, when the guitar is named after you, you rock. I still have the original Tale of the Tape CD release and play it regularly.

  • Who is the chick at the end of the video?

  • This was a great song. I wish it would have got more air play back when it was released. Billy Squier has always been the definition of hard rock.

  • As I recall, Bobby was off recording Alice Cooper's album, Trash and that is why he didn't play drums on this song. Good to see Mark Clarke and Alan St. John in the video too after seeing and talking with them this year at the concerts.

  • actually the BAD boys (Bobby Alan & Doug)all recorded together on Cooper's Trash CD. That was not the reson Anton Fig played on a few tracks. Dont Say You Love Me was one them. Recent tour was incedible.Seen 3 shows myself!

  • This album was recorded over a long period of time. I think Billy said in an interview that it took something like a year and half to complete (Enough is Enough took nearly 2 years to complete, btw). I think I recall him saying that the time it took to record Hear n Now accounts for his use of so many different musicians, because his core band members had commitments to start recording on other projects and Billy's album still wasn't finished.

  • I like the Cam 2 racing fuel shirt...Vintage.

  • Squier the BEST there is period.!!!!!!!!

  • This song really shows off Billy's powerful voice, such emotion. I love the video too. The woman in it is very lucky.

  • I cant believe this song is on here! I love it! thankks for the post!

  • I wish Billy would've sang this one on the 09' tour!!!!!

  • geil der song!!!!!!!

  • I can't find this on iTunes...dammit, dammit.

  • One of my favorites off of Hear and Now!!! another is Mine Tonight two powerful songs lyrically !!!! Thanks Billy!!!!!!!!!

  • A smooth life is way to boring diamonds are rough Paula . Your life begins when you are ready to take control .

  • i agree squier is so under-rated...not a bad song anywhere

  • Wow, what a great video! According to a Christmas '08 letter on his website, Mr. Squier is heading out on Tour Summer'09. Haven't seen him since '01 with Bad Company/Styx... Great news!

  • Squier is the best musician ever!!!!!!

  • To the time before video....

    we still love these tracks

    Squire truely rocked the 80's

    tao

  • The whole arrangement is so perfect butthat solo bridge/mandolin/into ELECTRIC guitar still does and probably always will give me chills..WHERE ARE YOU BILLY WE NEED A NEW ALBUM OR 4 !!!! ROCK ON , TC-Missouri

  • I have heard Billy had written & recorded some music on Michael Davis' new cd. At the same time he penned a few new ones himself>While i am not sure about an entire new album.I do know that he is warming up for his summer tour that kicks off in Minnesota in June 2009.I hear he is even doing Piper tunes from back in the 70's!

  • the 27th and 28th in Walker Mn 180 miles from my door it will be well worth the trip!!!can't wait!!!!!

  • Just saw him in Atlantic City and in Westbury, NY. If you are a fan, his show is a must-see. He is playing better than ever. And yes, he is performing music from his entire career, including the Piper days.

  • GREAT TUNE!!!

  • I am from Mass. this was never a popular song but it should have been. Thanks Billy from Wellesley Mass. Geno.

  • Alas, if only he did vids like this vs Schlock me tonight...

  • Love this song. You never have to wonder who's singing a song when Billy does it.

    Rock on, Billy!

  • Bobby C. was GREAT on those drums. Hard sounds or mellow, he was so talented.

Rest in peace, Bobby. No one will ever take your place.

  • Anton Fig played drums on this track.

  • ...and Bobby Chouinard is playing the drums in the video I wonder why he wasn't on the recording?

  • It might have been a scheduling conflict or perhaps Bobby was on tour with someone at the time or ??? That's a good question to ask Billy. Anyone?

  • I saw Billy with Ringo here in Minnesota on 7/14/08....Billy really did steal the show the applause seemed to be the loudest for him!

  • THIS is REAL MUSIC !!!

    Thanks !

  • To my Elizabeth, don't ever let me go. I'll love you til the end. You're my world. Always and forever, John

  • No Worries There My John! We are of Kindred Spirits OUR Passion matches and NOthing is goona stop us NOW! I Love You So very Much And I don't Care what Noone else says or does as long as You And I are together Forever My Love

  • OMG It makes me remember why I was SO IN LOVE with Billy Squier when I was younger (okay, still am, but now there's the whole husband and kids thing to get in the way!! LOL)

  • Billy is my favorite of all time. i recently got a signed picture from him for my 20 yr. anniversary. my wife got it for me. awesome. His recent tour with ringo star, he sounds great.

    Rock on Billy Squier

  • This was a great song and the chick in the video wasn't bad either!

  • How did this song not become the biggest hit ever? It is so amazing. I could watch the video 10,000 times!

  • I think this is my favourite song by him, it's really hard to choose, great video

  • Hands down Billy Squier is the best musician of all time!!!!!! Thanks Billy

  • One of those classic original voices that you can tell with your eyes closed. An unsung talent & pride of Wellesley, MA.

  • You are so right!!!! Squier is so underated and unsung he deserves so much more credit than he has recieved...we love Squier here in Minnesota!!! he is coming with Ringo Starr in July can't wait!!!

  • Had this CD years ago, but not sure where it is now. Makes me want to head out to the stores to purchase his songs again! I think he is great and would love to see him in concert! This song is great!

  • I'll stand by my word...This is a great tune! The guitar is great and no one else sounds like Squier!

  • Still a cool song anytime!

  • whos a bear

  • Thank you so much for posting this. It's my favorite Squier song. Had an old girlfriend named Lisa, and this was our song. We parted ways and lost touch, and a year later I found out that she passed away. This song will always make me think of her and keep her memory alive. I still get choked up when I hear it. Great song with great words

  • is this song dedicated to freddie mercury?

  • No thsi was not dedicated to Freddie Mercury. This song was recorded in spring 1989.The Mercury tribute song is titled "I've Watched You Fly"

  • i love this song it's one of his best

  • Billy was always one of the coolest. Now somebody needs to dig out the Calley Oh video. My favorite Squier song!!

  • No actual video for Calley Oh. However it was done live on the 1989 tour which is avaiable on audio only

  • Great video!!! great lyrics...which Billy has always written!!!! rock on Billy

  • Cool tune, remember it on the radio all the time in Tulsa with "Tied Up"

  • Anyone got the guitar tabs for this tune???

  • no tabs, just chords E-G-Dm-BRIDGE =Cadd9 CHORUS= G-D-Cadd9-D repetitave

  • Thank You!!!!!!!

  • life is a diamond, love is a trail of tears, pure magic.....don't let me..I dedicated this song to a very close friend who had left this world

  • Jadooooooooooooore !!!!!!!!

I like very much that and him

  • Great song, great video..thanks for posting!!!!

  • Simply Brilliant!

  • Priceless. Very nice. Thanks for posting.

  • Great song and video...wonder if this was filmed in The Power Station?

  • I doubt it. Looks as though it was filmed in L.A. Unless the inside shots were at the Power Station and it was just the outside sequences filmed elsewhere.

  • this was off of Hear and Now, which was a solid release. Wonder if he did a video for G.O.D.? That was a great rocker on that album.

  • Billy never shot a video to G.O.D.(which is a great rocker) Sorry but the only videos from that CD were Don't Say You Love Me & Don't let me go. (And he has never played G.O.D live either)

  • i've been looking for this song for over 10 yrs now i can be layed to rest.
