I will always remember him as Tripp from Dope/Makeshift-Romeo/Twisted Method.

Not Sinister from Daisy of Love.

If you think about, there is a good side and a bad side to the whole Sinister thing. Of course, Tripp will always have his fans from the bands. But all the fans that learned about him from just watching Daisy of Love would have never heard of him unless they didn't watch it. By learning who he is, they can gain an appreciation for the music, as well as the other bands. Unless they just gush over Tripp, then I'd have to agree with you.
