You can actually change the icons pictures, make folders and stuff like that. Just go to \Windows\Startmenu with a file explorer and start to do what you want.
The nice thing about WinMo is that you can customize it, skin it, install, anything you want on it. You don't have to jailbreak the thing to change something as simple as the background. That said they should've went further with the UI overhaul. Guess they are saving it all for WinMo 7.
sad thing is i have a custom rom for my lg incite (really shitty 6.1 wqvga phone) and its a more stable, more advanced version than the official release version.
im currently running build 23047. this build has the start menu at the bottom and EVERYTHING is finger friendly, throughout the whole system.
its a shame they decided to go with an old, useless version when they had the option to use the kickass one im using.
oh, and does anyone know which version the official release is?

Gee I think its very cool and for MS - in the right direction... the settings are one off tasks and thats it, upgrade item in time?
Remember this OS supports a lot of PC functions in the PDA level... GPS, readers, PDF, Word, Excel... thats why I use in for work.
But its a big step forward. 9/10
