i'll admit this games graphics today are sub-par, but for what it is, it's incredible! the jack/fps parts were a little hockey in my opinion, but i guess they had to convey the humans view as well. the kong parts though, were fun as hell. smashing t-rexs, throwing cars, and climbing around the city, awesome. i really regret trading in this game (ironicly for a godzilla game) it is a gem.

I actually loved the Jack parts a lot - it felt a lot more like a survival game than most other shooters, what with having few bullets and your reliance on spears, bait and bones to fight off monsters far stronger than you.

I don't really think that the two(Jack and other guy) in the plane will be locked up since that it was in the dark so it would be hard to identify the plane; you can tell from the pilot's words that get swat down. At that time I believe it would seem impossible to track anything down in the air.

Could someone tell me what kind of plane is that? Poor pilots... xP

I think the movie should've had an alternate ending similar to this, where Kong lives, but instead of the pilot shooting down all the other planes, they surrender after the part where Ann signals the planes to stop. The only problem is where would Kong go? Them taking him all the way back to Skull Island would be a bit of a stretch.

This game's awesome for allowing an alternate ending to happen like that though.

This is a nice, peaceful alternative ending. It is FAIR that Kong gets to live but it ain't fair when the idiotic modern-minded people think about themselves, but not thinking about other innocent creatures. We should try and realise that we're not the only living things special to this world. The ending where Kong dies is an example of causing an animal species to be extinct forever. The alternative ending shows an example that some people hate to see the last of it's kind to die.

Anyway, watching the alt-ending and the sense in New York earns this game 6/10 for not playing as Jack in the city until you get to the empire state building flying an airplane, not having to worry about giant multi-toothed jaws lundging at you and giving you a heart attack. Kong deserves a second chanse.

I love this game and DESPISED this game at the same time, a 5/10. 5 monsterific stars playing as king kong, the ape version of kratos in god of war manhandling everything in your path, while 5 should-be well deserved stars obliterated having to play as Jack, dancing around like a wussy baby and emptying entire clips only to end up as food.
