In Marathon Mangrove Snapper have to be 12 inches now. Just got pulled over two weeks ago not a big deal just a warning we were off the 7 mile bridge we live on a canal in Boot Key Harbor

I love both types of fishing, it's ridiculous to put shit on spear fishing when the worst form of fishing is condoned every time you eat anything with fish in it.

Spearing requires a special set of skills and is far more selective than line fishing, which to be honest I love doing when I haven't got the energy to pull on a wetsuit and jump in with the sharks.

i am a comercial spearfisher and i`m going to give you a tip to get very close to hogfish. go high over it and then go directli to it. the fish will stop to see you and give plenty of time to shoot. try it!!

a 10 inch mangrove snapper isnt a baby. mangrove snappers only have to be 10 inches to keep. that means that by the time they are 10 inches they are adults. stupid fucks. learn your fish regulatory laws

spearfishing is not a hard sport. with any sports its practice makes perfect. the hardest part of spearfishing for me would be the breathhold and deeper dving. you can get cheap spearguns for $70-100 and a hand spear for around 20 dollars.
