When an SC (not mom any more) is being smashed by a decent sized cap & support fleet it really isn't going to do very well no matter what it has fitted. If they could tank that many caps etc there would be some real issues raised with balance.

For the price of an SC they are not to bad, however they are a prize kill & since they got the buffs etc they got they are becoming a whole lot more common on the battlefield once again which is good for everyone in 0.0/lowsec wars.

That Wyvern must of been shitfit...it should'nt of fell that fast. Nyx..nyx can only tank a tops of around 7k dps. wyvern..could take around 20k.

2x9600 over 20 sec cycle tho*( not taking in capital repair systems tho* ) its not like you rep 20k every sec ^^ that would be ungodly.Tank si determined by resistance + repping not jsut repping alone. Motherships have a ton of res hence the high tank. If you would just go off the ammount of hp repped then a carrier with 2 reps would tank as much as a nyx :) If you need more clarification lemme know :)

it takes 3 good cap pilots to bring a mom down, we were able to do it with 2 and a small BS escort. Alliance brought one down with 60 BS's w/o caps.

aeon tanks 34k dps in triage perma

dual boosted and highgrade fit wyvvern can go for about 50k dps but not staple

Basical a mothership tanks about 8+k dps in traige the numbers get huge. and basic carrier tank is about 4-5k dps and 8k in traige but those arent cap stable. Dreads do about 3-4k dps. Hope thats what ya watned to know.

Ships cant cloak when some is targeting them, aslong as you are targeted cloaking device will not activate, also even if they were to cloak if some one got within 2500m of them they would decloak and its not hard to miss something that big as it moves at like 10m/s

they were stupidly shooting a pos with a hand full of battleships and these 2 moms were at their own tower, when we had a small force to engage the BS's they warped the moms on top of them to help out. We send our hictors in (i was one of them) to get tackle then rained down on them :)

Ever since the start of this year a new ship class has been released, the Heavy Interdictor. The HIC as we call it can use a focused point module to scram ships that are immune to EW. Even dreads in siege can be scrammed this way.
