  • ugly. drown all of them

  • i have a lhasa apso, i adopted him from a very good man in my town. Was not mistreated watsoever, very affectionate from the get-go and i must say as an owner of a lhasa, i don't udnerstand how people can let dogs live with suffering as such. I've always been a believer of eat what you served so they should be put in terrible conditions themselves to make them think. anyways when i fell on lonestar , i just have to say..you guys are a blessing! glad to always read the miracle stories :)

  • This is why both of my dogs are adopted. I cannot support puppy mills and their total disregard for animal life. Granted, I have a few breeder friends, but they at least care for their animals, and keep them healthy.

Both of my current doggies are Shih Tzu mixes. A Shih-poo, and a Shih-Apso. My first dog, whom I still miss greatly, was a Shih Tzu who lived to be just over 17 years old. :D

  • There so cute!

  • what about the other two (out of the seven) who weren't rescued?....you left them with that heartless owner!!!

  • This is awesome we saved a Lhasa apso he looked exactly like the vacant one except he is gray and white we neutered him and the had to put him to sleep to shave him and give him a bath he has all of his shots and plenty of tlc we love him he is such a sweetie :) don't judge a dog by their looks:)

  • It makes me so sad to think of how many dogs out there aren't being rescued. :( How could people be so cruel? it makes me so angry! I have a shih-tzu cross lhasa apso and she is amazing. If anyone ever hurt her like this, I would kill them. Good job rescuing them :)

  • OMG the first part is so sad:-(

    I have a Lhasa myself.

    I live in the Netherlands.

Good job and i hope they all have a good new home...

  • I hav both of those breeds

  • The puppy mill owners who keep these sad little puppies in such appalling conditions, should be made to suffer the same fate. Thanks to the people who rescue them.

  • I'd like to thank all the people involved in rescuing these beautiful dogs. I can't believe that people can do this to man's best friend. If I ever met the pricks who did this to these beautiful animals, put it this way, they'd never be able to do it again! Thank you Shih Tzu Rescue.

  • Bravo to those who rescued these pups. Who doesn't love such a charming before and after success. Cute names too!

  • heartbreaking. i couldn't watch the whole video, too sad.

  • If I ever found who did that to those poor dogs, or any other dog, I'd wring their neck. Bless you all for rescuing these dogs, and others not in the video.

  • omg!!!!!!

i was crying through this video, at 1:09

  • there are some cruel people around. Your work is fab well done xxxxx

  • Not to be a pest, but what happened to the other two who didn't get adopted? I'm worried about them

  • Did U guys know that a Lhasa Apso use to be a Palace Guard Dog!!

  • i have 1

  • no wonder he bites

  • i would'nt nueter my dog. id want my shih-tzu to have kids.

  • fuck you

  • ya dont have to curse at me, my dog is a family dog, so its not really entirely my decision, and i bet if you were any more intelligent you would have understood and not cursed at me in the first place.

im suprised you spelled ''fuck you'' right. Looks like ya did your homework.

  • thats a cute puppy!!

i luv lhasa apsos i went to the mall yesterday and i went to pamperd pets and they had a cute lhasa apso and i playe with it!!!! i luvt them th

  • I love happy endings! How could anyone do that to an animal, just blows my mind.

  • Thank God!

  • a beaut dog. I have a rescued shih tzu x Maltese that is blind in her right eye. My next dog will also be a shih Tzu x maltese

wonderful mate is my little Annie. Great disposistion. She is 10 now and starting to slow down abit. Although she is still the boss LOL.

    G'day from down under,

    Mitchell

  • Um...... Ok?

  • So nice to see them after they've been rescued... if only that happened to every dog. Better yet, if only there werent such evil people that abused them in the first place.

  • Both my puppies were adopted :) And the one that has now sadly passed from cancer, we're all adopted. The adopted and sadly not with us pug was from a balloon shop who found some puppies at the side of a row and decided to take them in their care and find an owner. The second one was from Border Collie Rescue, and lastly my poor shih tzu was neglected and most likely abused at one point of his life. Now, he sleeps on my bedroom pillow and every morning he wakes me up.

  • aw<3

  • this is an awesome video...thanks for sharing and bringing awareness regarding adopting rescue dogs...they all should be lucky enough to get a second chance!!

  • AHH Poor Puppies!

  • I adopted two Shih-Tzus from Lone Star...what a great rescue agency! I had a fabulous experience with Lone Star and now I have two more loving Shih-tzus in my home. I wish everyone would adopt instead of going to pet stores. Adpoted dogs make the best pets; they are so grateful.

  • You rock! And I agree 100%! Find your next pupstar at Lone Star Shih Tzu & Lhasa Apso Rescue!

  • Do you know where Lone Star is located? I want to adopt a Shih Tzu the next time I can.

  • i LOV shih tzus and lhasa apsos. check out my vids that have pics of my lhasa apso pup. look up my username YAYME2MUCH and you will find it

  • loved these liitle people.I had a Lassa for 17 years, he crossed the rainbow bridge last July, i'm still greiving.

    Trapper John

  • aww.they r so cute

  • I am going up today to a shelter to apply to adopt a shih tzu!

I am so excited, I hope they approve it.

  • although I cannot bear to watch the pictures, I so honor you and your work. Thank you for getting the message across.

  • you're doing a wonderful job!

  • Hey ShelterDogs.....who cares what songs they use - the message is that these dogs were rescued by wonderful people - don't be so shallow

  • This would have been a great video if not for the predictable "Who Let The Dogs Out" song that so many people feel compelled to use on their dog documentary soundtrack. I turn the sound right off anytime I hear that song now. There are several other songs about dogs that have been recorded for the past century. Yet no one ever thinks to search a bit deeper for them. What an annoying song.

  • ps: I forgot to give you credit for the first song used. It was a great choice, and that is why I was so let down by the second song.

  • ahhh you guys are such good people. Poor doggies at first. I have a shit tzu also. But you guys are so nice your a great help to animals.

  • wat's this song called?Ü

  • My Maddie is from a puppy mill, and she was also blind. I am happy to say that we were able to save one of her eyes in time and she's living the good life, always chasing after her ball.

  • YOU ARE GOOD PEOPLE :) <3

  • God bless you! If only there are more people like you then hope is not just a glimmer away.

  • That's is so nice what you do. You are good people.

  • thank God for your rescue group. you will all have good fortune in your future.

  • Why were only 5 of 7 taken? Why not all of them? poor little babies. God, I'd love to just.....ohhhhhhh....kick the (bleep) outta people that neglect them like that. grrrrr!!

  • Thanks, Carol L, on your great comments. Please be sure to see Mae's adoption video too. She's a doll.

  • What a terrific organization this is. They truly care about each little dog and making a happy life for every one. We are fortunate to have adopted a sweetie from LSSTLAR after the hurricanes two years ago. He arrived just before Christmas. Please adopt from rescue agencies and support them. Our innocent furry friends depend on us.

  • What a great job. I have adopted 3 fluffs from this group of volunteers. I hope people can see what these puppy mills are really like. Now these guys have a chance for a good life.

  • ooooooh! these little babies deserve much better! please people, spay and neuter your pets!!!!

  • I adopted our Lhasa from this rescue and

she is the love of my life. They have rescues in Dallas/Ft. Worth, Houston, San Antonio and Phoenix. They just rescued more of these adorable fluffs from a puppy mill.

  • Here is a perfect reason for adopting an abandoned or abused Shih-Tzu or Lhasa Apso. How could anyone see this and not BELIEVE that this group is trying to make a difference. They deserve any assistance (donations, foster homes, adoptions, etc.) that anyone can spare.

  • Please, anyone looking for a wonderful dog, don't buy from pet stores or even breeders

on line. Try your local breed rescue....they temperment test all dogs before letting them go to homes. I have two rescued dogs, and they're the light of my life! They seem to know that you've given them another chance at life.

  • God bless you. Anyone who is tempted to buy a puppy online should have to see the truth behind the scenes of all those "pretty" Web sites.

  • I'm glad to see that these little ones can finally have some happiness in their lives! Thank you for all you're doing.
