For how amazing the miracles were, and how many people Jesus came in contact with, it surprises me there aren't records of them other than the gospels. The real problem with what you just said, is that jesus christ did not write the bible. Biblical scholars even admit that the first gospels werent written till AD 70 (most people would say 70 ad, but thats wrong since it means in the year of our lord. so would have to be AD 70)

the bible is clearly, 100%, true and trustworthy. 300 some prophecies came true. it held together over thousands of years, with dozens of authors in dozens of places and all with a common theme. and then Jesus' life is the best testimony to the bible's accuracy. the prophecies are as specific as they get. I will concur though that there are no other documents than the bible that mention the miracles. For how amazing the miracles were, and how many people Jesus came in contact with, it surprises me there aren't records of them other than the gospels. Raising even one person from the dead should have made worldwide headlines, even in those days, and the fact that there aren't tons of outside records baffles me.

The real problem with what you just said, is that jesus christ did not write the bible. Biblical scholars even admit that the first gospels werent written till AD 70 (most people would say 70 ad, but thats wrong since it means in the year of our lord. so would have to be AD 70)

Paardems - He didn't say he's against gay marriage in the debate exactly. He said he's not for redefining the term "marriage" on a FEDERAL level, which is what he's talking about in this vid. He's not against gay people marrying, but, for example, doesn't think a church should be forced to marry a gay couple when it goes against their beliefs.

I beleive in god, but i also believe in love, and in California, and religious freedom really isnt an excuse. We have all the freedom in the world to be religous, we have the freedom to choose our religion, we have the freedom to go to church, and to worship god, but to take someone elses freedom is something that i think god would oppose to. And I have every right to demand the equality that is set forth by the law. Separation of church and state is a binding concept. Morality is not a product born solely from religious doctrine, nor is it incapable of existing in the absence of such beliefs. You are very much entitled to your religion, but the code of ethics and standards derived from your 'faith-based' beliefs should not interfere with my right to be treated equally. 'God' was not elected president, and this is not a theocracy.

Kz..of course I have the right to restrict peoples personal affairs if they affect my life and the life of my children. That is why this was put to a vote. No one is stopping anyone from being gay. This isn't even the issue. If you want to marry your dog, I will vote against thst too although it is a personal affair as you put it.If you want to marry your own brother or Dad, I will vote against that too although it is one's personal affair. I care about what is BEST for us all of us.

Are we any more less important because we disagree with gay marriage? Do our opinions mean less because we are Christians? Does our vote count the same as any other citizen? Are we less because we follow the teaching of Christ and not those of whoever is on the current scene preaching their ideas? Marriage is marriage. No one is telling anyone they can't be gay. It's not even about that. You chose this lifestyle and knew going in that it was not acceptable to everyone. We have rights too.

You have the rights to believe that homosexuality is wrong, but you don't have the right to restrict other people's personal affairs that you object to. We live in a country in which people are entitled to live their lives freely as long as it doesn't hurt anyone, and gay marriage does not.

Livyvy dear, you do realize that marriage has been redefined several times over the course of our history. Its origins were not brought about by the romanticism we equate such unions with today. Why be so selfish as to limit these bonds to a specific group of people? Our founding fathers gave us sound notions of equality, distinct from religious prejudice of any denomination. The Church and our government was not a 'match made in Heaven.' Let's be sure to keep it that way.

Instead they wish to promote it and force people to accept their marriage and giving in marriage as if it is Holy when it is far from it. There is no ark this time but Jesus Christ and the blood that he shed for our redemption if we repent and turn away from our sins. The earth will be detroyed by fire the next time..not by water. Strip what away? We adopted marriage from the bible. We're fairly a young nation. Understand that our founder fathers wrote the constitution based upon the values of the scriptures. Our country was built upon Judaeo Christian values. Separation from religion doesn't mean we don't follow values & laws. The 2 are distinguishable from one another, but not, not existent. I don't know. If this issue ever came to where I live, I would have to vote for only man-woman marriage. But it's nothing against same-sex couples at all. It's just that my church is firmly against the issue and I just want to do what God would want me to do. And everyone is angry with me for trying to do what I think is right. I just wish that People would quit taking it the wrong way. I have absolutely NOTHING against them. I just believe it's morally wrong and I don't think God approves.

Biden didnt lie. He said he's against a constitutional amendment, which I believe he is. However, his personal believe is against gay marriage. Biden knows the seperation of Church and State very well. He knows his personal beliefs are not that of others and knows between right and wrong. Amending the constitution in this situation is extreme and he realizes that. If it wasn't amending the constitution . . . then maybe he'd vote yes.

To them, it is natural, if you will and the question is absurd.
My issue is, why when someone disagrees, they need to fill out an application to explain themselves.
That should not be. Im not going to ask a gay person why theyre gay.
But, every reason people have give, they have been ridiculed. In other words, NO reason will be good enough for a gay rights activist period.

Constitution is lesser important than population biology. If anything threatening the survival of a race, it override any "freedom" or "equality" granted by the constitution. Homosexuality become normalized will decrease birth rate, therefore, allow foreign population to dominate over existing population.
