This was commissioned by a fellow PC enthusiast in the Islands. I am sure he is enjoying it. I was just glad it arrived intact and he was happy. The materials are quite expensive so it's not a slight undertaking to make one of these on the off chance someone somewhere might want it one day. But it is easily replicated on a client by client basis.
I doubt I will have the time to make another this winter, And it's pretty expensive. The Acrylic alone costs over $100 then there is about 5-6 hours of shop time to get the parts ready to buff and maybe another 5-6 hours of polishing. I prefer polishing to torching because (if you check my vids) torched acrylic is highly reactive to any type of alcohol.

That looks cool...
With it being acrylic, instead of buffing would it be easier to blowtorch polish it?
I know it works ok on the 5mm edges i use for windows etc, just a thought?!?
