  • i dont get this vid,

why show the finished job and not the making off ?

  • That looks cool, very nice touches add to it, good vid

  • This was commissioned by a fellow PC enthusiast in the Islands. I am sure he is enjoying it. I was just glad it arrived intact and he was happy. The materials are quite expensive so it's not a slight undertaking to make one of these on the off chance someone somewhere might want it one day. But it is easily replicated on a client by client basis.

  • you probably should make some more and sell it, i will b the first one to buy this stand! ,) enjoy ur stand=]

  • good work it looks amazing :)

  • Excellent work as always CD. ~Interpolation.

  • Nice piece of work there mate.

  • Your an Awesome builder/craftsman dude :D

  • I doubt I will have the time to make another this winter, And it's pretty expensive. The Acrylic alone costs over $100 then there is about 5-6 hours of shop time to get the parts ready to buff and maybe another 5-6 hours of polishing. I prefer polishing to torching because (if you check my vids) torched acrylic is highly reactive to any type of alcohol.

  • XD looks great!

  • How long did this take? would you make another and sell them?

  • That looks cool...

With it being acrylic, instead of buffing would it be easier to blowtorch polish it?

I know it works ok on the 5mm edges i use for windows etc, just a thought?!?

  • Nice!
