I absolutely agree that there is no plane like a Luscombe. I've had my 1946 8A (NC71277) since 1999 and I plan to keep it forever!

What as your airspeed? It looks like it was 60, is that mph? How do you approach that slow and still have enough elevator to flair?
Best is can do in my luscombe is ~65. 60 would be nice for short field work.
