  • I love Genesis! This ablum is my favourite are you going to do Mad Mad Moon? That is my second favourite Genesis song behind Land of Confusion.

  • FUCKING AMAZING THANKS!

  • With the CORRECT choir chords in the final instrumental part, this track would be better...

  • In a word... No.

  • Cover cover cover? Enjoy my cover of genesis!

"Duke's travels cover by pino lettieri" "Fading lights cover by pino lettieri"

"Behind the lines /duchess cover by pino lettieri"

ENJOY MY PASSION IN ONE MAN BAND VERSION

  • Dedicata a TDP, fiore nel fango..

  • I could be wrong but one of the notes in the chorus seems to need raising a semitone - check out the notes that match the lyrics in capitals aka - - - - - eyes become HEAV - ier still and b) with your consent we can experi MENT further still - I'm sure the HEAV and MENT are played a semitone too low - sorry to be picky but this is my favourite song of all time and your version is really cool and deserves to be perfect - well done!! If I'm wrong then I will jump off the end of the world LOL

  • I still love this rendition of one of my favorite Genesis songs. Thank you so much for taking the time to do it, and thank you for posting it.

  • It's ok, but the rhythm falls apart in the chorus. It isn't a choppy song, and you made it choppy, which defeats the hypnotic feel that was meant in the original. The ending was pretty good.

  • @Qntkka I see your point. I was trying to go for the sort of a gallop one hears in, say, Christmas music. I heard it a different way...but Viva la differance! :>

I'm glad that you enjoyed the last part of the tune, and hope that part at least retained the hypnotic aspect of the original.

  • Loved it. Great to hear you preserving the majesty of the coda too. It just wouldn't be the same without that choir :-)

  • @adam872 Very happy to hear that you liked it! I tried a few different things in the last part, but none of them worked out as well as the choir. The sense of majesty it creates is just not the same with any other instrument. Thanks again :>

  • Enjoyed your version of one of my favourite songs - the visuals fit well!

  • I was wary of listening to this because it's one of my favourite songs but you did an incredible job with it, very nice work John

  • @LisaJJMerry I fully understand your reservations, heh heh. I'm happy to know that I didn't totaly ruin it for you :>

  • @LisaJJMerry i agree with you lisa. The original is so special that i was in two minds weather to listen to it. Glad i did, this is a great cover.

  • I like this song of Genesis very much and the last 2 minutes make me dream !

    Congratulations !

  • @lighttenebris Thank you! It is a dreamy song indeed; I'm very happy you like this version :>

  • uso spietato di un coro elettronico. questa non è un'opera che si può vendere così. se non si ha talento non rovini la merce altrui!

  • noooooooo!!!!!!!!!!! is a idiozia

  • Still in love with this version of the song. Thanks again! ^_^

  • Very nice!!! This song is ethereal and your interpretation is fabulous.

  • WONDERFUL!!!! You took a brilliant song and made it sound even more beautiful!!!

  • @mulemusic Thank you very much, mulemusic!

  • I'm sorry, I'm not racist at all :-(((((((

China plate is is a pun on the word MATE=friend, chum etc

I apologise if offece is given

    Colum

  • @Kenentigern7 don't get me wrong, kenentigern7, i took no offence at all. i was simply curious as to the usage of the phrase.

i've never heard of 'china' being used in that way before; if you don't mind my asking, is that somethng common to where you are geographicly (and where are you, by the by?) or something you picked up somewhere (and if so, from where)?

Thanks ahead of time for elaborating.

  • @johneboy1970 His "China" reference is Cockney Rhyming Slang, used in the East End of London mainly. It's when you take separate words to mean something else - e.g. "Trouble and strife" means "wife", "China Plate" is used for mate. So saying "not half bad at all, china" he just meant "not half bad at all, mate". It was a friendly thing.

  • @JanineRobin It's ok me old china. More commonly "me old China" "Old China" is the phrase china plate mate meaning friend or actually not as it was generic as well as intimate.

  • not half bad at all china. good work

  • @Kenentigern7 Thanks!

(...but i'm not sure what you mean by 'china'. Although I do like the style of food, I am not Asian.)

  • beatiful pictures

  • @dinkeldal Thanks for bith comments, dinkelal. I can't really take credit for the visuals...they were things i found around the web and i just sorta put them together. Thank you for watching!

  • great visual grafhics

  • Great job! Nice translation, and the picture show was inspiring!

  • @jeffteach Thanks jeffteach, glad to know it hit ya' right.

  • 7.06 minuteof brilliance

  • @shrewsoul Thank you!

  • This was so beautiful...I cried...more than once. Thank you for doing such a grand job with such an excellent Genesis song...

  • @LadyHae Thank you very much for the high praise; i'm touched that my take on this classic had such an impact on you. It is a wonderful peice of music and i'm happy to know that I may have done it justice.

  • @johneboy1970 It is praise that is well-earned and deserved.

  • Stunning sound.

You really captured the beauty and majesty of this incredible Genesis song.

  • @PaulHartXYZ It is an enchanting song - thanks for letting me know that I may have done it justice :>

  • Wow, fantastic instrumental version! Impressively done!

  • @JohnLRice Thanks JohnLRice, glad you dug it!

  • Hi John, this is my all time fave piece of music, let alone Genesis piece. Listened to it 34 years ago and still nothing comes close. Love what you've done and agree the final flyout fits the beautiful out-tro perfectly. A new dimension to the song so well done and thanks, C.

  • It really is a great song and stands against the test of time rather well (as do many Genesis songs, in my humble opinion). Happy to know you enjoyed my interpretation...thank you Sievecn.

  • A great song from genesis and you made a wounderful cover version

  • Thanks for the complement Morpheus.

  • Well done Sir. This is such a magical song.

  • It is a tune that captures the imagination. Thanks for the kind words.

  • I have to agree that the visuals of the closing section fit perfectly. But all the pictures were well chosen- and musically it is also very good of course.

  • Thank you VienneseDelights, glad you dug it.

  • Always wondered what the best visual would be for the closing section of Entangled and voila! what better than an unbroken ride out of the solar system and out

  • It did seem to fit :>

    Thanks!

  • Cool! I like it...

    ~Amy

  • Thanks Amy! Happy to hear you dig it.
