That was a really good vlog! Well done to you for opening yourself up to more challenges. Good luck with the 10K, the movie and with future vlogging. I'm sure you won't have a problem with any of them. Good luck mate.
Thanks, I think I will stick with what I'm good at (or at least better at) but I'm thinking that going forward I might just do 1 weekly vlog of whatever is on my mind
good luck and just remember that as you do more running, it will only get easier! (I managed a 3.5 mile personal best record of 26 mins 55 today, something I would not have believed a few weeks ago)
well if the 10k run goes well I might even work myself up to the the Bristol 1/2 marathon in September so if you're looking for an excuse to come down to the West Country...
and yes, it did feel quite good to do a vlog and just say what is your mind, I do have an idea for another vlog that I might do in the next day or so
A vlog a day is a difficult enough challenge but I haven't got the time to log on every day and watch peoples' daily vlogs. I am so far behind with everything else that I want to watch on YouTube. I get home from work and I've barely got time to make my tea! Anyway with regard to the running, you forgot to mention the weight chart that we're updating on a weekly basis!
yep maybe in a few weeks we'll do a joint video where we talk about our progress and we'll tell people about the chart (assuming it's good new of course)
Hmm, maybe if I started running to the gym each day, I could then just sit in the cafe there and have a coffee before running back. Save the boredom of watching Jeremy Kyle on mute whilst on the treadmill!
Mind you, if I do that I may as well save myself the gym fees too and just run to a cafe! lol!
Or just stick with reading books and pretend I'm not actually getting less fit every day :)
I'm so far behind in watching videos at the moment and this vlog-a-day-a- thon everyone is doing isn't helping my tardiness! will have to get to your beer epic shortly. We;ve been watching a series on the BBC about two guys taking a trip around the UK trying to discover Britain's national drink! Good excuse for a drunken trip I'd say!
I fancy Ruth & Babs!

perhaps I'll do a follow up video in 6 months and see how far I got with my objectives...

Cool! I just challenged myself and signed up for a 5k in 3 weeks. I'm scared shitless that I'm going to make a fool of myself, but I'm training hard.

for sure, but I feel pretty worn out right now. I've been doing 10+ for the last couple days.

You do yourself a disservice Steve. Your vlogging is fine.
Amazingly, my vlog for today talks about my own recent running & my possibly running a local half marathon.
Good to see you're pounding the pavements as well.
Keep it up :)

A half marathon in Bristol eh? Sounds interesting. I haven't been to Bristol for about 20 years now. I shall keep that in mind.
I am coming down to Bath in April, for a wedding. but, won't have any spare time, which is a pity :)

Do you think Mr. Funny should stick to his "Vlog a year" schedule? ;)

well to be honest I pretty much use going to the gym as an excuse to relax in the steam room! ;)

yeah I heard about the tv show where they go around drinking beer, I wonder if me and Mr F could get paid to do that! ;)

A friend is sending me an unopened copy of iLife that should be in the mail tomorrow. The rest of my comment will be via video response.
anakin1814 3 years ago
yep iLife, definitely worth it if you want to make quick/easy videos with some cool effects but without the hassle of using FCE

so far so good, worked out today that I've been out running 6 times, at 3-a-week only have another 30 or so runs to do before the 10k!
21stCenturyCat 3 years ago
wow... I barely have time to eat these days! ((is eating in front of the comp)) How do you manage to do a vlog a day???
Quality, Steve.
I'm going to do the Tri-borough bike ride around NYC. I'd rather do 42 miles by bike than run 1!

A vlog a day... easy when you're single!
Although I don't really plan to do one each day (I have my 'normal' stuff I want to post)
21stCenturyCat 3 years ago
You're using that word, Normal, loosely, aren't you?
IXGertXI 3 years ago
Very!
