  • can't they find more likeable people to do this? shesh

  • her voice is soo boring!!!

  • My teacher gives us this denominater but I Can't find any chart for solving the answer - .- 4/15 for equivalent fractions to decimals..

  • 0.333333333

  • .33333333333333 is ur answer.

  • can someone help me solve this:

    1

    --

    3

  • ok so im trying to find a video on this math problem:

    Choose the equivalent fractions:

    3

    --

    4

but every one i find says i gotta have a second number! P.S i go to the jubilee academy.

    HELP!!!

  • good explaining

  • wat if i dont want to multiplie by 4

  • @questforfreedom100 you have to multiply it UNTIL the denomenator are numbers like 100, 1000,10.000 and so on.

  • that in english is mulitply the bottom number by something to get 100 then times the time number by what you timed the bottom number by simple but when you get something like 40 your fucked

  • even though u are slow at speaking, i still don't get it.. pls not to be fast.. and please make sure that you are specific.. thanks.. :))

  • okay but i don't knoe how to do 17 / 40 ):

  • I want the other guy back, you panocha you know nothing!, he was legendary! he was prophetic. you your just a bunghole biscuit head...your not john and you will never be (p.s that isn't his name it's just the name i gave him).

  • Why 4!? Is that a randomly chosen number???

  • i got exams lol

  • ty

  • thank for helping me

  • actually theres even a quicker way to get the answer, all you have to is do numerator divided by denominator so 18 divided by 25 will give you the answer 0.72. Try it on a calculator and you will see that the method is correct! Thumbs up if you tried and u agree with me :D

  • makes so much sense! Thanks teacher, but does your method always work all the time though?

  • she did times 4 because 25 x 4 = 100

  • Why times 4 she didnt explain

  • lol i dont get this still over 13 times of watching this

  • Basically, shes saying if the denominator can by multiplied into 100, perhaps 25, multiply 25 times 4. it equals 100 so do the same thing to the top. If there isnt a number that can go into 100, divide 25/18 and you get 72. however, you must add how many numbers there is after the decimals point. add the numbers behind it and then add however many you counted before the decimal point into the answer

  • This makes sense however there is a much easier way of teaching it, in my opinion. 18/25 can be converted to decimal by dividing 18 by 25 or 18. divided by 25 equals .72 :) divide the top number by the bottom number.

  • @evilmakoto exactly..i din't really get her method

  • This is not the easiest way of teaching it, however it is a right way. I saw another video that said to just divide the small number by the big number and add zeros(if necessary). Example: 1/2 would be 2/1.00 (pretend that the "/" is the divide symbol).

  • thanks now i understand :)

  • AGGGGHHHHHH Im gonna fail my math test... AGGGHHHH!!!

  • @SALmetalseven omg me too

  • what will we do if the denominator is not the factor of 100? can u please tell us......

  • @deepak50799 all u really gotta do is divide. for example 3 over 4. divide 4 in 3. add zeros after the decimal point. and the answer would be 0.75

  • I know whay i dont get it. A women is teaching it XD

no kidding but this is hard to learn

  • yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyuuuuuuuuuuuuiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiuubbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbdddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeekkkkkkklllllllllllllllllllllqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQKKKkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjj

  • the evil eye!

  • @svrmadness192 If the donominator isn't a factor of 100, then divide 100 by what ever your denominator is. Then you'll get a number, times both the numerator and the denominator by this number. It may be a decimal, but it's better than nothing.

  • she sounds like a crackpot :P

  • i still dont get it :(

  • why wont you smile?no offence

  • well, what if it is 18/26? then you are stuck... this method blows chunks. Long division is the way to go.

  • @EdMajinLee199999

Thats true, is it?... Cause looking at this video i now cant remember how to do either :) Yay!

  • @fleshtheworld lol. yeah, well it looks like you have more youtube searching to do. Long division requires a little more thinking, but it works for any numbers you can make up.

  • i think its easier to divide the denominator into the nominator add the needed zeros get ur result then place ur decimal then a zero 4 place holder...

  • helpful!! i got A in the test!!

  • Comment removed

  • with that fractions @kxharamos

  • @kxharamos you get the four because its the only multiple that will go together

  • thank you this is soooo helpful

  • i still dont get it :(

  • @BOBBYGIRLification She made 18/25 as a percentage which made it easier to get the decimal as 72/100 is 0.72, equal to 18/25.

  • @BOBBYGIRLification Basically, she multiplyed 25 by 4 because that makes it up to 100 and then did the same to the numberator. so basically, you find out how many times the denominator divides into 100 and then multiply it by that and do the same for the numerator ! :)

  • @BOBBYGIRLification example: 4/3 , you wanna get the 3 ( the bottom number) to be 10,50,100,1000, ect. and then whteer u do to the bottom u do to the top

  • @BOBBYGIRLification she finds the 4 to have the denominator in 100 so she multiplied 18/25 by 4 which is 72/100 she got 0.72 cause you will read the number at the right next to the decimal point as tenths, so 2 is hundreds so she wrote 0.72 :)) i hope you understand it now lol :P

  • @BOBBYGIRLification just watch it a few times you'll get it

  • @BOBBYGIRLification shes soo long just get a calculator and do 18/25 = 0.72 or without a calculator put the smallest number in a bus shelter and the bigger one out of te best shelter and divide them out

  • @zaydeeable You cant use caunculators on tests

  • @ilovecookies24433 yh i also mentioned you can do it without a calculator am form the UK so we have calculator and non-calculator questions.

  • @BOBBYGIRLification This is really easy -.-

  • a good teacher , not for the simple minded tho

  • @79holdentorana So true

  • Where do you get the 4 though?

  • Thankyou this helped and Preco28 you times the fraction by 4 to get the bottom number out of 100. Because 4 x 25 = 100. :)

  • dislike

  • damn,i dun mind she teach me all day long

  • this is the worst example ever, thats why kids cant figure shit out because teachers like this are idiots, where did the four came from, out your ass, i could careless if you horney loosers find her hot or not

  • @prettydamnfyne89 because as she said "We need to find a denominator equivalent to 100"

    And 4(25) = 100.

  • How did she randomly come up with 4?

  • I can hear a little Baltimore twang in her voice the nubmer 2

  • HOW DIdd u get the 4?????? this so confusing

  • Comment removed

  • i want that teacher cause she teaches great

  • @princeton208 and shes hot

  • Man her voice is weird and annoying as fuck!

  • i hate this explanations...

Is very simple: just divide! like my teacher says "top # in bottom out"

  • i hate when teachers explain things like the student is an idiot

  • Comment removed

  • Simple, numerator divided by the denominator.

  • why does she say 2 like that

  • why do most online teachers have small boobs ????? lmao :D

  • @THEARMORERIC19 And why do male online teachers have big ass camel-toes? lmfao

  • What if the denominator is not equivalent to 100 or does not be equivalent to a number with a zero. U see maybe u get tired of teaching us that and u shouldnt be teaching.

  • Yeah they suck at explaining!!!

  • I WANT TO LEARN... THERE JUST SO FUCKING BORING!!!!

  • this woman makes me mad

  • @jvoto8069 I agree haha

  • well what if I need to change 1/3 into a decimal. I can't get a denominator of 100. Can anyone help me. I'm trying to learn this without using a calculator

  • in solving this kind of problem,is every solving gonna use 4?

  • @myscenemonsterfairy no its what can be multiplyed by the same number

  • @myscenemonsterfair Man there are so many questions this stupid channel leaves me with... I think its fractions that have a denominator smaller than 100, you have to find a number that can be multiplied to bring the denominator to 100. After that I don't know what the fuck she is talking about. They need to get more into what they are teaching.

  • youtube is way better than normal school lets all go to you school

  • @merick318 I agree. I find it easier to learn on this than my home school program. There should be a website called YouSchool or SchoolTube

  • google "fet system" for revision notes and lectures for every subject

  • 18 x 4 = 72

    28 x 4 = 100

the 100 changes into a 0. then the 72 goes and thats how she 0.72 if not understanding message meh! i go slower and simple

  • 18 x 4 = 72

    28 x 4 = 100

  • @xjarmilx I'm in the same situation

  • is she on crack?? there was no explanation lol

  • I wish I was good at math :( I just now remembered I had the ACT tomorrow. I forgot about it during a family vacation..I hardly studied :( Boo for me!

  • air boy that doesnt make sense any ways lol what i think more clearly is that that two number has to be multiply by the same number

  • Hope that helped

  • Why mult by 4? Bad teacher lady!

  • @airboy90 Multiply by 4 because she needed to convert the denominator to 100, 25*4=100, 18*4=72 then to convert the fraction into a decimal you simply multiply 72 by 100 which is the same as moving the decimal point to the left by 2 .75 will now equal 75. which is 75%

  • ill EXPLAIN how she got 4, 4X25=100, OR IF YOU HAVE 20, YOU WOULD USE 5 BECAUSE 20X5=100 ITS BASICALLY A NUMBER X'ED TO GET 100.

  • what if the denominator isnt divisible by 10?

  • she got the four because she said to find a number you can multiply with the denominator to get one hundred, and four fit.

  • @grandpianoo98 That's fine...now tell me how you're gonna use that same method for a fraction like 2/3

  • haha it equals zero point seven tuu haha .. she talks funny!! ^_^

  • @megumi28emo and @mrsbanuelos4 well actually u have to find a number that can be divided to the fraction and of course, to get 100

  • you can just divide the top by the bottom & then your going to get 0.72 to get a percent you move to spaces to the right & add the percent sign %

  • @XxYeraldinxX so its 72%

  • @cindysaetern Yes if you want it as a percent ,but if you want it as a decimal you dont at the %

  • "Zeero poynt sevehn teew"

  • OR we could divide the numerator by the denominator...

  • what

  • shes a fagout

  • she multiplied by 4 because 25x4 = 100 and what you do to the bottom you do to the top

  • @megumi and @mrsbanuelos i think she got it from 1/4 is 25 sooo...thats how i figured it

  • Ummm this didnt help =/

  • Ur ugly

  • @missyjcpenny its ok if its not 100 like 72.50 its also correct, all is needed was to multiply the following fraction numbers to the same number. :D sorry for being a smarty pants

  • Comment removed

  • she should have broken down the movement decimal when she gotten it to a fraction

  • Ohh, geez...I got lost /:

  • 4 is the number that is multiplied in order to make the denominator 100 .. so therefore you have to multiply the numerator by that same number ..

  • were did she get the 4 from?

  • A mixed number is a "mixture" of two types of numbers Whole numbers and parts of numbers These numbers can be written two ways either as a 1) Whole number and a fraction or 2) Whole number and a decimal (the fraction is just another way to write a decimal) both are parts So... in the problem 4 3/16 you take out the whole number 4 then one method (different from the video) 3/16 means 3 / (divided by) 16 this is the part and it will take your fraction and make it a decimal
  • what if the denomintor is not 100?like my homework paper says ''writing frctions as decimals''and 4 #8 on it,it says ''jennifer has been spining in circles for 4 3/16(i ment to say 4 3 over 16 but i didnt know how to make that fraction line XD)''write the mixed number as a decimal.and so back to my questing dummy what if its not denominator of 100?yes i ADMITE that i have a proball with math especailly when i was on vaca 4 6-7 weeks and missed a whole quarter D: .SO PLZ HELP ME AND WITH PERCENTS

  • Reading these comments made me angry.

  • how did you get that answer

  • i think she got the 4 because 25x4= 100? maybe???? i dunno i suck at math! why else would i click on it?

  • shes stupid of course i know how to do this but what if you have a fraction like 5-24 huuu i thought so stupid

  • yeah thats a good tecqnique but what would you do if the denominator was not a multiple of 100

  • @supercheese41 Then you just go and find the next common denominator. because you could have done for this 36/50. But rounding to 100 is easier.

  • must it be by 4????????????????????????

  • She multiplies it by 4 because 25 (the demonenator) x4 = 100.

  • Where the hell did that 4 come from?

  • What the shit, you just go 18 divided by 25.

  • noo wtf you divide 25 to 18 Idk where the fuck you got the 4 O.o

  • that was easy.

  • Comment removed

  • What if the denominator isn't multipliable by 4 or divisible by 100? How do you turn 18/29 from fractions to decimals?

  • @noawantomas1 Divide 18/29 = 0.620689655 round it and you have your decimal

  • @drivonike2-- oh i see,. hmm thanks..

  • A very helpful video thank you

  • this is stupid not all denomniters go into 100

  • I don't understand. Not helpful to me at all

  • wat happens if the denominator doesnt have a number to multiply to get 100? then what?

  • @JozZi19TL Then you would divide the numerator by the denominator

  • @HOODYWOODRECORDS ooohhhh.. thank you!!

  • lol where did she get the 4

  • @megumi28emo cause she look at the number that both have a common denominator. so both go into 100 been the smallest number.

  • @megumi28emo cause she look at the number that both have a common denominator. so both go into 100 been the smallest number. hope that helped.

  • @megumi28emo She got 4 because you have to find a number you can multiply the denominator (bottom number) to turn it into a hundred. Hope that made since.

  • @megumi28emo shes trying to get it equivelent to 100 and wow im 11 years old

  • @megumi28emo

25 times 4 = 100. Therefore, use 4 and multiply the numerator and denominator by 4. She does it right.

4 is the only number that works. That's where she gets it. She needed to make the denominator 100. 100 ÷ 25 = 4. That's where she got the 4.

  • @megumi28emo 25 goes to 100 4 times

  • @megumi28emo

she got the 4 from dividing the denominator from 100. you have to see a fraction as 100..so 100 divided by 25 is 4. you then multiply the 4 with the numerator.

  • @megumi28emo it wa the first thing that she talked about. decimals represent fractions with denominators of either 10, 100, 1000 and so on. Four comes from the fact that if you multiply it 25 by you get 100. Also, you have to remember that multiplying the top and bottom by 4 is the same as 4/4, which is one. So 18/25 x 1 is still 18/25 or the same as 72/100. I hope that helps.

  • @megumi28emo you have to times the denominator to get 100 so 25x4=100

  • @megumi28emo You have to make it 100... 4X25=100 :)

  • @megumi28emo because 25x4=100 so you do the same on the top

  • @megumi28emo she got 4 because your trying to figure what times 25 would equal 100 no matter what, when you are converting fractions to decimals you are trying to get either a 10, 100, 1000, etc.

  • @megumi28emo silly people! because 25 times 4 = 100 !!!!!!

  • @megumi28emo you need to do 25 times 4, it always need to be 100

  • @megumi28emo

25 times 4 is 100 . Sooo, whatever you multiply by the denominator you multiply by the numerator .

Listen closely to 0:28 through 0:25 secs. .

  • @megumi28emo she multiplied the top and bottom by 4 so that the bottom was 100 and the top was 72

  • @megumi28emo work it out lol? she said get the number over 100...

  • cant understand a word ur saying man :L

  • how she figure to x's by 4 she didnt explain that?

  • @mrsbanuelos4 simple :) because before u can hear her saying u need to make the denominator 100 so that it can be divided.

  • @arhamomar finally some1 that understands :D
