Morakei is a Dragon Priest ppl not a Mage and guy who's head got cut off is a Thalmor which are high elfs that always use magicka. If you do this later in the game after doing Azura's and Sanquine's daedric quest the dawnbreaker and Sanquine's rose make this really easy plus I suggest getting the other Dragon Priest mask before this one as there is a mask that makes you immune to frost fire and shock damage.

seriously, he's just draining your stamina? None of my magic works on him and I can't get close enough to hit him with a weapon, he wipes out my health in 2 seconds and I have a lot of strong armour, and have drank the resist magic potion. Even when I use the paralyze scroll nothing happens to him.

Tip: You can ad a shortcut to two different spells by going to the spell you want as a shortcut, and fold down left or right on the D-pad, then go to another spell you want a shortcut to, and hold down the opposite direction to the first one you made. As a word of recommendation: when you reach the lever activated gate I would recommend conjuring something on the other of the gate to handle most of those enemies and make it easier.

im level 19 all shitty armor and i beat the final battle by staying up top shooting double fire balls, then taking away some of my health with equalium or whatever and then reviving my self to full health, this gave me enough magicka to shoot a fire ball or two then i would go back to hiding try it out

i am level 9 and i beat this second try, very easy. i am a pure mage all i need was hind and get my mana back. go and hit him up a bit with a shout. easy mode.

Im levvel 15 and it took me awile but i used the blade that you conjure up with magic and healing spell. I would attack her while healing myself untill my magicka ran out or i was low hp. Then i ran towards one of the pillars and hid behind it. When she moves u move around the piller (she cant attack you). Once i had my Magicka back and i had healed myself i repeated the process. It took awile but it worked. Hope this helps

@bladerocks123 you have to wait and hit him with all u've got during the short intervals where he has his shield off. In this video the player seem's to be more of a boss to Morokei then Morokei to him but I guess the only way to defeat Morokei is to level up in armour, two handed weapons and restoration spells. Cuż I've shot (accurately) about 80 steel arrows from a falmer bow and only about 10% of his health has suffered :o

I found a glitch where if you use dwarf helmet, armor, and two hand sword he doesnt even attack you our get away fast, just keep hitting him and its easy. Im only level 10 and it worked

I defeated the 'boss'... I'm a level 17 breton. I defeated him using archery. When you kill the two wizards, go to the one aiming down on the ward, the second one you kill. Get out some arrows and poison your bow with your deadliest potion. When he tried to attack me lydia ran down, she took him into the water bit and he stayed their. I just kept firing arrows. Try and get him in an easy space and lay into him! :) Hope this helped.

@rbt2032 I think he might be playing on apprentice or novice difficulty ;) and he has very good, magic resistant armour. I can't see any other explanation .... If u're really stuck on this quest and u get frustrated, go to gameplay settings and temporarily change the difficulty or permanently if u want to, it won't affect any trophies or anything, just makes the game more playable and thus more enjoyable ;)

@shortmothafa ya i had a tough time with her too. what i did was i led her back to the gate with the lever and kept hitting her with my destruction spell. if she seemed to get too close to me, i would activate the lever. that way she wouldn't be able to attack. just repeat those steps and you should be able to kill her easily. hope that helps :D

I'm lvl 28, and this ruin was a breeeeeeze. I'm a Woodelf, so I just observed from a distance and destroyed everyone.. The one Death Lord with the Drainheart Bow was a bitch to kill, but that was the hardest part..
