@GoogieTomz Im asuming you are swedish so if it says that its nordic it has the extra swedish keys. Im also asuming that you are looking to buy one online so in that case it says nordic next to the name of the keyboard.
OK bro i just both this fine piece of hardware its slitter diffident then yours keyboard i can upload video if you wont. but i have problem with programmatic my 12 macro buttons. read the manual etc but when i record macro for example: i record mouse 2 button on c1 button.then i enter counter strike 1.6 and when i buy awp and i press c1 i don't get any reaction. because when press mouse 2 button or c1 it should aim down the sight awp. so do you maybe know or any1 else how to program my macros ?
im sorry but dont buy any thing from madcaz yes its nice but i have had the rat7 and v7 keyboard and all they do is break i fried 3 rat7s (1 time it was fried other 2 butons where just a mess) and the v7 keyboard the keys keep sticking and the mods are screwed up. so no matter how nice it is its not worth it
@havocnuke9000 Seems a shame you've had that experience, I have a rat 9 and it is incredible, I literally have never used a better mouse, had it for a while now and it still runs flawlessly and has the best design for a mouse, unlike so many other keyboards and mice, saitek don't give you a load of useless features, they are functional, I heard really bad things about the rat 7 but let me assure you that the rat 9 fixed all the issues, including the wobble. Quick-swtich batteries 2.
@bizarrefruit yea i love it but it these things cause it to be unusable hope fully when i get my new one back it wont happen again im even considering getting this keyboard if i can find out if it breaks like the rat7 or not
The second usb cord on the keyboard is for extra power. Just like usb 2.5" harddrives, there is a second usb cord because the one usb slot only only outputs 4.8 - 5.2 V @ 0.5 Amps. So this keyboard is a power hog. This guy just doesn't know that. "Deconvince" Really? Geez.
U got any problems with the keys?? I jsut want to be sure, cus my friend bought razer blackwidow ultimate and he was pissed of because he wasted so many money... Blackwidows keys suck... BTW is this nonslipping keys?? thanks ;)
I got one of these the other day. I do like it sorta but was dissapointed to find that you must plug in 2 USBs and audio cables rather than the keyboard to support itself. I wouldn't have minded if it only needed an AC adapter as well as 1 USB or something but anyway. In the end I got myself a soundcard + 3 USB ports hub and connected it to 1 USB, works great. Why would I want to do this? well I have a 46inch TV in my room and games look great on it so I want to use my keyboard and mouse :)
Just got this and the keys feel shit, they barely bounce back. I have an older Saitek Eclipse II keyboard and the keys feel better on that and its a fucking year old. I have no idea what the royal fuck has happened here. Right now i am disapoint, i hope i will adjust to it. I also find the touch sensitive buttons to be very annoying. Just needed to say this so people are aware if they are thinking of buying this.
This one for sure. I have never heard of someone who didn't eventually get fed up with the lycosa. Apparently it's anti-ghosting capabilities are severely lacking. Not to mention the fact that it's a real dust and fingerprint magnet. Just what I've heard pretty much universally.
It's worse then that, ive had mine for a year and sometimes random keys stop working. Like I was playing CSS last night and I couldn't stop working cause the W key was activated without me pressing it and I couldn't even type W in chat nor could I type or use about 9 other keys which were all pretty important. Had to restart my computer to fix it, that was about the 6th time in the past month it's happened. I don't recommend Razer products for long time usage...
@Fencefeet I have had the lycosa mirror for over a year now, still great. It looks so good and works perfect as well. It gets dirty but cleaning is really easy as well..
@Fencefeet I know this was a year ago, plus I didnt have the mirror version, but ill be the one guy that will swear by the lychosa. I had it, Friend spilled some pop on it, and refused to replace it. Ive missed it ever since, and now use a logitech K120. basic of the basics. Ill be rebuying the lychosa with my birthday money here shortly, If I dont get enough for the black widow ultimate.
@Fencefeet I think that that the Blackwidow ultimate, SWTOR klimited edition and the Cyborg V7 keyboards are he top and are a step ahead in keyboard technolgy
@FRIntense the main reason I love them is because they feel much better than regular rubber dome keyboards. they will last MUCH longer and are very durable. also, you can choose what type of keys you want depending on what you do. A ton of professional gamers like the black (what I'm typing on now) and blue switches. the blacks are pretty quiet with a good amount of tactile feedback and the blues have less tactile feedback but they are pretty clicky. they are pretty expensive, but worth it :)
@FRIntense if you mean switches, then no there are a few different types (Blue, Black, Red, Brown and Clear) i believe that's all of them though i could be wrong. if you mean companies that make them, Razer, Tt Esports (what I'm typing on right now), Steelseries, Das, and Mionix. With the exclusion of Das, those are all gaming grade keyboards, although I have seen some Starcraft 2 players like Destiny using the Das ultimate :) there are plenty of videos about mechboards on here as well :D
@sKarmA115 I see, well then, I need to find a video to explain these switches, i can read this and just see but, seeing a description video might help, I'm not sure it's my type of keyboard, but i would like to know everything before i make a personal decision
@gintaskis I'm typing with the lycossa right now, and I see no problems with it... What's the issue? Btw I got the mirror so no rubber melting bullshit.
@iBenJay First problem was that the touch sensitive screen didn't work.. and the second problem was that the headphone plug in didnt work properly... Sigh T_T
@gintaskis I use neither of those.. except for the one button the the screen that does the lighting. and the volume buttons seem to work... It's not that bad.
@cliffst3rz It IS a V.7. Packaging has been changed after Saitek got bought up by the other company. and since this video is quite new it's probably the new packaging of them
Actually it is I promise. It's only a different box because this exact unit was made before MadCatz bought up Saitek. They are still the same keyboards. The website that I bought it from (gameshark) listed this exact keyboard as a V.7.
@Fencefeet hey man, do u really like this keyboard ? I'm not sure to get this or the v5, there is a great sale on eBay, Saitek Cyborg R.A.T. 7 Mouse & V.7 Gaming Keyboard for 150 euro, + 20 euro postage, not sure if that's worth it though, how are the lights ? are they bright enough ?
Hey sorry for really late response but to answer your question I absolutely love this keyboard. So, if you have bought it and are still unsure then don't be because I have come to love this keyboard more and more over time. As for the lighting, I think it's perfect. Not too bright, mot too dim (can be adjusted too).
Yea it is weird, I believe this problem is in the SST software and drivers itself and not the keyboard (the BSOD even points to a Saitek driver).
It really hinders the full potential of this keyboard. Optimally you can take these 12 programmable 'C-Keys' and efficiently program them for up to 42 macros on the same profile by suing shift keys. As an example I was using C1-C6 as the macro keys and C7-C12 as shift keys.
The only major problem I ran into with this keyboard was when I tried to do some fancy programming macros with shift-keys (using multiple shift-keys). The problem being is when you hit the shift-keys it is an instant BSOD, I seen this problem in Win7x64 and WinXPx86. I have contacted Saitek's Tech Support via e-mail about this issue but have never heard a response back from them on it.
Other than this problem i have not seen a Saitek keyboard that was not designed with quality and durability.
I assume this is rubberdome? Not mechanical? Like all the piece of shit gaming keyboards?
Don't get me wrong, I have a G15 as well, but I just bought a Cherry keyboard with mechanical switches (1 actual switch per key, rather than a rubber mat with nipples that get depressed) and it's WORLD of difference! You'll type twice as fast and, depending on switch type, game better too!
How are you liking the Rat mouse? Just got a steelseries Xai which I'm very happy with...
Yeah it sure is--but unfortunately most all of the decent looking "gaming" mechanical keyboards with similar featrues as this one are wayyy too expensive for most people. That's the only problem. Totally agree though--mechanical keyboards are great to use.
Look forward to hearing what you have to say about it. I am looking into a new keyboard, and I agree with you one the logitech prices. Still, logitech does offer the keayboard with LCD screens on the top, and more macro keys.
Most definitely. I like most everything else Logitech makes (in terms of fair pricing), it's just their mice and keyboards that are slightly over the top.
Hahah my bad. Yeah the G19 is an incredible keyboard--just crazy expensive. That's really the only reason I don't like their stuff. I usually tend to stray away from companies that charge premiums because they know they can (Apple, Sony, etc.). For the most part their stuff is good, but I just don't think it's nearly good enough to justify the price over similarly performing competition.
Also, I've had a couple of their higher end products go bad on me (mx5000 keyboard and an mx518). Just discouraging to have that happen when you pay so much is all. Also, everyone knows about their stuff, so I like sharing some light with the other guys too.
Yeah I've been very impressed with it so far. I'm looking forward to doing a full review on it (even though there's tons already haha). A friend of mine just got the X6 actually, so hopefully he likes it. Seems like a solid keyboard--certainly looks nice.
@Fencefeet Nice that'll be cool dude, yes its a fantastic keyboard once you get used to it and its solid enough for gamers haha. I am very much impressed with the Cyborg R.A.T 7 mouse which i am very tempted in buying sometime soon, it'll be to replace my G9 mouse.

I can't decide whether to go for this or to go for the Sidewinder X4.
Things I like about the Cyborg V.7:
- Green LED option (very rare to see green)
- Headphone jack (without an extra sound card like the g110 has)
Things I dislike:
- Slightly pricier than the X4 Sidewinder
- Longer than the X4 Sidewinder
- A lot of people report faults on the V.7?
- I'm not sure whether the silver/gold finish on the V.7 looks cheap in real life?.. In some pictures it does, but on this vid it looks really good
