So since standard WL plans guarantee the CSV = DB at age 100, at age 100 the Total DB = 2 x DB. But with Paid-up Additions (PUA) option, one can expect the DB to triple by life expectancy, hence Total DB = DB x 3.

2. In this insurance your money becomes a loan and if you want to borrow your own savings you have to pay interest.
3. You loose your savings if you die
4. You cant take your money right away if u need it

Term renewals pay out as long as the policy is in-force, and increase commensurate with the ever-increasing step function of the term renewal premiums! Thus term pays more in the long run, and is consistent with the fact that term insurance is the most profitable thing an insurance company can write.

Term is fine, but it's for a "term" ie 20 to 30 years - Permanent is used for Life and Estate planning - how else would you transfer assets tax free and probate free?
