I've got this one and it works just fine but there's something that bothers me big time. When the backlight goes off, the screen does not go completly off, so if you get close you can still see the display on, which is a waste of energy. Any idea how I can solve this thing? There has to be some solving, yet I haven't been able to find it anywhere.

@SuperHacker10 that is completely up to you, i personally had both and liked the 3g more, it just feels nice in my hands, the 4g is a little too thin for my liking and is very sensitive to tilting. other than that keep in mid that the 4g does come in 8gb and 16gb models whereas the 3g comes in 4gb and 8gb. hope this helps!

I MISS MINE. :( I had it for about 2 years or so but then I got the "white screen of death". The screen goes white and when you try to reset it, it gives you two beeps. I took this thing everywhere with me. I'm using a nano 1g right now, until i'm probably getting the nano for christmas, even though the new nano probably won't compare to this one. :[

They judge the aesthetics by the thinness and colour (which the 4th and 5th gen do have better colour and a rounded design but that's it).
