they're not dead!! they're just falling through the texture! this is possible on Link too, you will just fall and after one hour or two (depending on location, hyrule castle ( where the third boss is) is the fastest way) then you will land in the Kingdom of Ancient Gods ( or what the hell it's called... )

@Jacob8936 cant find the vid, but I help ya out; with the easiest but longest one, go to Windfall, up the windmill and light the lantern, jump into the lantern (it sounds impossible, but with the right technique you will succeed), then he will react just as with lava, and then he will bounce in the lamp and then fall through everything, and then after some time, it will load, and then you are in hyrule! but with no boat, so make sure to have the ultimate master sword before you do this.
